I work full time, but can tailor drop-ins and walks around your pet’s current schedule so their routine stay consistent. My weekends are usually free, so if your pet needs longer walks, or more cuddles, then I am happy to provide. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know! I am happy to talk anything through with you.

I understand that each pet is different, and has different needs. I know some dogs love to have a ball thrown and play tug of war, while others prefer a good ear scratch or belly rub. I know some cats are quiet and independent, while others need some back rubs. I'd love to work with you to figure out the best schedule and needs for your pet while you're gone. This involves knowing what commands you use, if any, to keep things consistent for your pet. As a pet owner, I know that it can be worrisome to leave your pet while you're away. I don't want you to have to worry and would love to try to keep their routine as similar as possible along with sending you updates and pictures.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs or accommodations ahead of time. I understand that some pets may have medications, special food, or behavior that may need to be noted. I want to know what's normal for your pet so I can keep an eye out for anything that may be of concern. I love all animals so I do not have a preference for size, breed, and age. I also understand that sometimes pets are unideal in timing of incidents (aka hurting themselves right before our planned trips). If anything changes in your pet’s care, I am happy to accommodate to ensure both you and them have ease of mind.
A typical day
I love to work with pets in different ways. I think it's important for pets to express their energy physically and mentally. I know attention is super important for your pet, especially when they’re missing you. Please let me know their favorite spots so I can make sure to love on your pet while you're gone. I always greet my dogs with rubs in their favorite places when I come home. If your pet has a favorite dog park or space to walk, please let me know! I'd love to be able to take them out to their favorite sites while you're away. If your cat has a favorite spot in the house or toy to play with, please let me know!

I've taken care of pets since I was child. I have always loved animals, and my family has had animals since I can remember. I’ve been petsitting since middle school. I have been petsitting on Rover for a few years now, and I love the relationships I’ve developed with clients. I have several recurring clients, and I feel honored that they know their pet is safe and well-cared for with me. I enjoy seeing their pets a few times a year. It feels like seeing an old friend! I have transitioned away from overnight stays due to my pets’ personal needs, but if there is a need, please let me know. I may be able to accommodate. I've cared for dogs, cats, small mammals, fish, birds, and horses. Small mammals includes rabbits, hedgehogs, hamsters, and guinea pigs. In college, I majored in Animal Science (livestock emphasis), and I worked at a pet boarding facility. I have experience managing a large scale equine breeding farm, and was a daily feeding/watering worker for an equine boarding facility. I use these skills to manage the care needs of multi-pet households. I currently have 4 pets: one senior dog, a dog who thinks she’s still an puppy, and two cats. I have experience with a variety of age ranges from puppy to senior. I have experience with a lot of breeds and size ranges. I love spending time with animals so if your pet needs brushing, walking, bathing, playing, or attention while you're gone, I'd love to provide it!
