We live in Frankfort KY but Kelley works in Louisville KY a few days a week. Depending on dates and times, we'd would love to help you and your fur baby! We live on an acreage and have half an acre fenced! Kelley slept on a friend's couch just so her cat wouldn't be lonely one time.

Dave is retired and Kelley commutes Monday & Tuesday to Louisville. We have a half acre fenced! Dogs are allowed on furniture. We have sunny rooms. We have baby pools to cool off in and the door is usually open. We also have a split level with a cement patio allowing additional space if needed.

Information Kelley & David W. would like to know about your pet
We've worked with all kinds of dogs from Pit Bulls to Chihuahuas. Separately and together we've had Rottweilers, Retrievers, Labradors, Mutts, you name it. We've taught many people who were afraid of big breeds how incredibly gentle they can be. We have been lucky enough to foster dogs for the past 3 years - BIG & small. In this capacity we provided post operative care for spayed/neutered, cateract surgy and an amputee.
A typical day
We encourage fetch and bringing the ball back, have numerous toys, enjoy taking walks, going on hikes, giving belly rubs, light training exercises and who doesn't love napping in the sun?!?

Pet care experience
We have been fostering dogs for over 3 years, but we've had dogs our entire life. Fostered BIG, small, seniors, puppies, special needs and dogs that require post-operative care or just need a quiet place for a while. We help them find their forever home by teaching basic skills like potty training, sit/stay and socializing which increases their chances to be adopted.

I absolutely love Kelley and David! They treat our Roxy like one of their own! They have great communication and I love all of the pictures and videos they send - it gives us a huge piece of mind that Roxy is happy while we are gone. They are always very prompt with pick up and drop off.

Fantastic experience! Our dog was loved and cared for as if they were their own. Great communication, plenty of updates, and a safe, welcoming environment. We came home to a happy pup and couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️
