Summer availability * As a wildland firefighter my summer months are very busy and unpredictable, in the fire season I will only be taking repeat clients if I can make it work with my schedule. I am a firefighter, and at the moment a full time pet doesn’t fit into my schedule, but I pet sit for many of my coworkers, and doggy day at the station is my favorite day! I am very active so if your babies like runs/walks and hikes I can accommodate, but I also appreciate a good lazy day. I worked in a boarding/pet daycare facility for 2 years. I have a lot of experience with large/giant breeds. I’ve had a Great Dane and two Italian mastiffs in the past, as well as extensive experience with Great Pyrenees and Saint Bernards.

Kelleigh watched our Bela for several days and helped us out tremendously. She is a true dog lover and knew how to keep our pup busy and active to the point of exhaustion! Kelleigh is a active gal so expect your pup to get a workout! We were concerned our pup might not want to come back with us since she has so much fun and excitement with Kelleigh but that was not the case! Highly recommend her for your pups needs!
Kelleigh was great. She was responsive and flexible and took great care of our dog. She was able to help him feel comfortable and relax while he was there. Will definitely use her again.

Schedule
I work 10 hour days Monday-Thursday’s, with the option of working full/partial days from home or bringing dogs to work with me if needed, as long as they are dog friendly. My fire station has regular dogs that are all very dog friendly. Friday-Sunday I am completely available to accommodate the normal schedule of any dog/cat.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a private fenced in yard, only shared with local wildlife (rabbits). I do have a giant breed sized kennel if crating is needed or necessary I can provide my own. Pets are family so I will treat them as such, but I will be mindful of any rules (not on the furniture, treats etc.) I also consider myself a green thumb so if you have any plants that need watered I am more than happy to show them some care if I’m in your home.
A typical day
I am very outdoorsy so if your pet is up to it I enjoy hikes, runs and walks. I have a large fenced backyard with plenty of room for running around and fetch, or just soaking up some sun. I have a large trail system through my neighborhood so walking paths are very easily accessible. And as long as it isn’t bothersome during your time away I will provide you with photos and text updates daily so you can see what kind of adventures we are having.
