Dog Retreat!
Hi everyone! My name is Kell. We are a military family who recently moved to the Wilmington area. I have been pet sitting for over 20 years and love animals, from drop in visits to long term boarding for military deployments. I have two dogs of my own who are passive and love other dogs. I also have three children. They are very well behaved around animals and know boundaries. Leaving pets alone can be stressful and I want both you and your pup to be comfortable! I know that your dogs are apart of your family and I will provide the very best care for them. Please contact me for more information and if you would like to meet a discuss more. Thank you! I am a stay at home mom, so your pups will get all the love in a home environment! I already have two dogs so my day is already made to include your pup too! I like to say river acts as an Airbnb for dogs, and hope I can give you the security of a loving home environment for your pups! Pets are free to the home. I have a fenced yard and they can go in and out as needed! I try to make their stay as comfortable and homey as I can!

Great experience!
This is our second time leaving our Motley girl with Kell! I am always so anxious to leave her with anyone but Kell is so nice and understanding. She always sends me pics of her during the visit and that makes me feel so much better! Motley is always worn out after pick up from playing so much with the kids and other dogs. It’s a great experience!

Kell is absolutely fabulous! It is so nice to be able to leave the dogs and know they are in such good hands. Would recommend her to anyone.
Kell and her family are amazing!! Miki is the 2nd dog we have trusted with them. Our first dog has crossed over the rainbow bridge, and we didn’t hesitate to take our new puppy there for care. From how happy our pup looked in the photos Kell sent us, we were afraid she wouldn’t want to come home with us!! Thanks for your loving care!💕🐾
Kell was amazing! Laila loved her & her beautiful Family… fur babies included. Kell was very responsive & attentive to Lailas needs. I will definitely use Kell in the future.

A typical day
I love dogs! I love to see what quirks each dig has that I get the pleasure to watch! We play ball in the backyard and I am able to take in walks around the block if needed! Some dogs do better during one on one walks and enjoy all the new smells!
