Hi! My name is Kelcy, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’m a professional dog walker, boarder, and pet sitter with years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I previously volunteered with the Edmonton Humane Society, where I gained valuable experience handling dogs with different temperaments, energy levels, and special needs. I have never felt more at ease leaving my dog with someone. Kelcy was so professional and kept us very up to date while we were away. Our boy seemed extremely happy and well taken care of. Every picture he had a huge smile on his face. She was able to also provide some extra attention and dietary needs when it came to dealing with a big dog with arthritis. We can't wait for her to stay again and watch him. Feels good to know he is in very good hands when we aren't around.

I always monitor pets to make sure they are happy, safe, and relaxed. My volunteer experience with the Edmonton Humane Society has given me experience working with dogs of different temperaments, helping me provide patient and attentive care.

A typical day caring for dogs with me is structured, attentive, and full of enrichment. My mornings usually start with a potty break and a walk to get some fresh air and exercise. After that, dogs are fed according to their normal routine and have time to relax or play. Throughout the day I focus on keeping dogs mentally and physically engaged with walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I’m comfortable caring for different temperaments and energy levels thanks to my volunteer experience with the Edmonton Humane Society, where I worked with dogs that needed patience, structure, and positive interactions. For dog boarding, I keep a calm and safe environment where dogs can settle in comfortably. I monitor behavior, ensure regular potty breaks, and stick as closely as possible to each dog’s usual routine so they feel secure while their owners are away. For drop-ins and check-ins, I make sure pets get everything they need — fresh water, feeding, bathroom breaks, exercise, and companionship. I always pay close attention to their mood, health, and safety. My goal is always to make pets feel happy, safe, and cared for while giving owners peace of mind. I treat every dog like they’re part of the family.
