About Piper and Tilly
Piper and Tilly's Owner
Such a goofball :) She gets along with most dogs, but I ALWAYS schedule a meet and greet in my backyard because she does best on her territory. I can easily tell whether she will accept another dog this way. Piper seems to like dogs that are her size or smaller the best. She can be timid around hyper larger dogs, but mellow ones larger than her are usually not a problem. She also adores puppies! She's one giant puppy herself, but she knows to be gentle when she plays with dogs smaller than her. Her favorite thing to do is play fetch. She'll catch anything you throw for her.

Yes. She will go potty on command. Simply say "potty, potty, potty!" and she goes. Since I am home most of the time, we go out every couple of hours because she has a lot of energy, but when I was working 8 hours a day, she was fine in her crate too.
Gets along with children: Yes
Older children are best. She has the most experience around children 4 and up. She especially enjoys playing catch with anyone that will throw a ball for her and is trained to drop toys on command. She can sometimes be a little too excited with her ball though, so she may accidentally nip a small finger during play, which is why we think older children are best. She likes to give a lot of kisses too, so needs to be reminded she can't lick everyone's baby. ;-P
Gets along with other dogs: Yes
Most of the time. She definitely does not like being jumped on or rough play. She enjoys running around with other dogs, so long as they take the hint to respect her space when play is over. She doesn't usually guard toys, probably because we have plenty to go around.
- Gets along with cats: No
A little too curious about them
Takes medication twice a day with her food.
