Pet Care is apart of my daily life with owning a large dog. I currently volunteer in the morning in waterloo doing dog therapy training. We are a very active team in the community. Caring for animals teaches me how to observe the world from a new experience. Also how to communicate in a language that is not spoken. Caring for something living gives me true purpose in life and I enjoy sharing that energy with all living things.

A typical day
I will be present with all pets making sure all their needs are met. I show all the animals I work with positive reinforcement. I enjoy taking Dogs to the local Park, Conservation Area, Crown Land and the Grand River Trail. I really enjoy the off leash dog park in Waterloo. I often do play dates with a couple of dogs and play right along with them. Lots of dog toys and tug toys are always handy and pre approved treats.

Training a service/therapy dog gives me purpose. Cleo and I work with all size dogs to boost confidence and improve socializing. I enjoy working with rescues. We also work in the health community doing therapy visits on a daily basis. I also conduct local walks at conservation areas and local dog parks. I am a practicing shaman, that values healthy diet and physical heath of animals. I have a real connection to all living things. I have worked with many small puppies teaching social skills with larger dogs, I practice these skills daily with house training including positive gentle greetings, sitting, eye contact, my walks include avoidance walks, pack walks, guide dog practices at all intersections learning sit and look for cars only crossing when permitted, eye contact training, graceful greetings with all people, extra care with seniors and children, scent training and positive reinforcement is a key practice in my personal experience. Pack walks are great fun and also great exercise, group therapy teachings in pack walks. I have personally done some world travel to many countries working with many cultures. I am a working professional who has a chance to enjoy the small things in life create safe places for people to share and build relationships with people who care about animals as much as I do.

Haven was pretty timid meeting Keith however he showed her patience and kindness and eventually made their way on a stroll. I was pretty nervous letting her go with someone as she can be a handful but turns out she did awesome! Most definitely will be asking Keith to take her again. Thanks for making my first booking experience amazing.

I was transitioning between two jobs and relocated to a new city and needed to get my dog familiar with the new surrounding area and I personally did not have enough time to dedicate to my dog. My dog is a large breed and can be very temperamental around male human and other dogs. I choose Keith to be our walker because of his gentle approach with my dog. I had arrange for a met and greet prior to them going on a scroll. To my surprise, my dog responded very well to Keith. Keith approached my dog on my dogs level, he actually got down on ground. Keith has been very patient and gentle with my dog especially during walks constant reassurance and positive reinforcement. Keith has fostered a very loving an neutering environment and now my dog is able to walk with other dogs. My dog loves Keith and knows the sound of his vehicle when it is approach close to our house i have watched it in action. I continue to use Keith not only now for dog walking but also to stay for overnights when our family is out of town. My dog thoroughly has enjoyed his company and companionship. Thank you Keith, for making this transition for our family such a huge success.
