Because we’re retired, pet care easily becomes part of our daily and weekly rhythm. We genuinely enjoy being present, maintaining routines, and giving pets the time and attention they’re used to. Your pet’s schedule becomes our schedule — whether that means morning walks, medication timing, play sessions, feeding routines, evening wind-down time, or simply companionship throughout the day. Our flexibility allows us to adapt to your pet’s needs rather than fitting them into a busy lifestyle. This lifestyle is exactly why we love long-term and overnight care. Pets thrive on consistency, and we’re able to provide calm, steady, predictable attention while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment
Caring for pets in a client’s home is something we take very seriously because we understand we are stepping into both their pet’s safe space and their personal environment. We approach every stay with one simple mindset: maintain comfort, routine, and emotional security. For example, we once cared for a senior dog who had very specific medication timing and a nightly ritual of being tucked in with a particular blanket. Rather than seeing those as instructions, we saw them as part of what made that pet feel safe. By the second night, he would calmly wait for us, tail wagging, ready for his routine. It was a small but meaningful sign of trust. In another home, we cared for a shy rescue cat who spent most of the first day observing us from a distance. Instead of forcing interaction, we respected her pace. By quietly sharing space, maintaining feeding routines, and offering gentle consistency, she slowly became curious, then affectionate. By the end of the stay, she had claimed her preferred spot beside us on the couch. Those moments never stop feeling special. We have learned that pets communicate comfort in subtle ways. Relaxed posture, playful energy, peaceful sleep, or simply choosing to stay close. Those are the signals we pay attention to. Our care typically includes maintaining established feeding schedules, walks, exercise, playtime, medication if needed, and of course companionship. Beyond the basics, we focus heavily on emotional well-being. Some pets want activity and engagement, while others simply want calm presence and reassurance. Because we work as a team, pets are rarely left without attention for long periods. This helps maintain stability and reduce stress while owners are away. For us, pet sitting is not just supervision. It is about creating a sense of normalcy and comfort in your absence.

Every pet is unique, so we always encourage owners to share any special needs, dietary routines, medications, personality traits, or behavioral tendencies their pet may have. Our goal is to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible so they feel safe, comfortable, and understood while you’re away. Working together as a team, we make sure every pet receives thoughtful, attentive care tailored specifically to them, giving you peace of mind while you’re gone. 🐾

Reviews
As pet parents, deciding whom to trust with our fur babies is a hugely important decision. We need to know with certainty that they will be safe, cared for, and if at all possible, loved in our absence. Keith and Amy do all of this. My dog is older and requires some extra care and attention and the two of them are happy to do it. She rarely wags her tail when I get home from errands, but when they show up? She greets them with joy and excitement and many wags. I am so grateful to have found them. Knowing they are with my “baby” gives me complete peace of mind when I need to travel.
Amy and Keith provide extended stay and overnight care for our pets, and the experience could not have been more reassuring. Knowing our animals were able to remain in their familiar environment with such calm, attentive caregivers made all the difference. They maintained routines perfectly, provided consistent companionship, and treated our home with exceptional respect. We returned to relaxed, happy pets and a home that felt just as we left it. Their presence brings a level of peace of mind that is truly invaluable. We will use them over and over, and the relief of knowing we can leave our pets in good hands makes everything easier!!!!!!
Amy and Keith cared for our pit bulls, who require very specific handling due to food sensitivities and behavioral considerations. Their calm presence, patience, and attention to detail made an enormous difference. They followed every instruction carefully, maintained structure, and showed genuine care for our dogs. We always felt confident and completely comfortable knowing our pets were in their hands. They have a natural ability to understand animals and create a stable, reassuring environment.
We needed long-term care for our pets, and Amy and Keith exceeded every expectation. Extended time away from home can be stressful for both pets and owners, but they made the entire experience seamless. Our animals remained comfortable, well cared for, and emotionally settled. Amy and Keith have a natural ability to create stability, which is exactly what pets need during longer separations. Their reliability, warmth, and attentiveness are extraordinary.
