Every visit is individually designed around your pet’s behavioural needs, energy levels, and emotional state. I prioritise mental enrichment through species-appropriate activities (scent work, problem-solving games, foraging opportunities), and structured play that engages their natural instincts. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise; it builds confidence, reduces anxiety, and supports emotional regulation. I assess what your pet needs that day and adapt accordingly, ensuring they’re mentally engaged, appropriately challenged, and genuinely content.

KTM Pets is designed for owners who prioritise behavioural wellbeing, routine consistency, and professional standards in their pet’s care. I’m Keishia, founder of KTM Pets. I provide structured, professional pet care with a strong focus on mental enrichment, emotional wellbeing, and consistent routines. Every booking is tailored to the individual needs of the pet in my care. With over six years of hands-on experience and nearly three years running KTM Pets full-time, I’ve supported more than 70 clients and cared for over a hundred animals across Derbyshire and Nottingham. My work considers temperament, behavioural needs, energy levels, and environment. Mental enrichment sits at the centre of my approach, supporting confidence, calm behaviour, and a sense of security through thoughtful, intentional engagement. My background includes a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management and Science and a Level 4 qualification in Canine Behaviour. I am also currently studying Animal Psychology and Animal Nutrition and Diet, ensuring my care remains evidence-led and grounded in best practice. Care at KTM Pets is never rushed or generic. I work with pets across a range of emotional states, including those experiencing stress or changes in routine. Through calm handling, behavioural awareness, and consistent structure, I support pets in settling, decompressing, and feeling safe. Entrusting someone with your pet requires confidence and trust. I approach that responsibility with care, professionalism, and a commitment to building long-term relationships with both pets and their owners.

We were absolutely delighted with Keishia. Her communication is excellent, she took time to come and visit us and see our three dogs prior to sitting. Our dogs are very different in requirements with one being nervous, one blind and one hyperactive. Keishia managed each of their needs perfectly. She respected our property, keeping it to our stansards of clean and tidy, We cannot sing her praises enough and eould very highly recommend Keishia to anyone without a hesitation Thank yoy Keishia. What a wonderful human! This booking was my first time using Rover/having a stranger look after my boys so naturally I was very nervous and anxious! Keishia was so wonderful at setting my worries at ease, quickly organised a meet and greet so we could get to know each other and see how the dogs felt around her. They were instantly besotted. During the booking, I got regular updates in photos and videos, and reassured me that when she left everything was locked up as instructed! I would give 6 stars if I could. So glad to have found her! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
As my cat is of a Ragdoll breed, she is very nervous and requires a lot of company. Keishia house sat and looked after her for two weeks. She was absolutely perfect and I couldn’t imagine anyone better. She was very loving and caring, and provided very regular updates, including photos and videos. This is the first time I have used a house/cat sitter but I felt very comfortable leaving my cat in Keishia’s very capable and loving hands. My cat takes time to build trust with others but it was clear that she was able to do this relatively quickly with Keishia. I could tell from the videos how they both grew to adore each other. I would highly recommend Keishia and hope to be able to use her again.
So friendly, all 4 pets and my small child loved her instantly. Will definitely be using Keisha again
