Caring for my animals is weaved into my daily routine. I wake up early enough to tend to my pups before my kids wake up to ensure everyone’s needed are met. Depending on the weather we typically have afternoon playtimes or walkies or we will have some water play to end a hot day. Checking water/feed, refreshing water and feed, bath and brushing, and administering medications are all just a part our normal routine list at home for our critters.

I have emergency numbers for vets and contacts to assist me in an emergency situation (choking, wound, any current illnesses like seizures, etc). Saying that I am NOT a licensed veterinarian.

I’ll need to know their likes and dislikes, what treats they are allowed to have and how often, if they have any physical restrictions or a specific diet plan and if there is anything they just really love to do, and what they do to get into trouble. For example: do they door dash, run after critters like squirrels, get out of fences or chew up items they shouldn’t.

We go on walks, play games in the yard like fetch or tug-of-war. Hide and seek is also fun with a pet that Is interested. I’m a very personal person so taking breaks and have ‘affection sessions’ are good for the pets. During this time I just love on them in ways that they like. I have three dogs, one likes to be pet constantly with ear rubs, one likes to be loved on roughly and play in the water and one loves to play fetch with many belly and chest rubs. They all love earning treats.

I have cared for and had pups and cats since I started elementary school, but I picked up the bigger responsibilities with caring for critters around age 15. I have three labs, (ages four, three and two), one cat and a fish. My two females have each had a healthy litter of ten puppies that I cared and found homes for! I am very attentive to my animals and their needs and even more so to other creatures. I currently work as a dog groomer and boarding technician which has given me knowledge on many different temperaments of pups and techniques on how to uniquely tend to them while having safety and care as top priority.

Keisha is always so good with my pup, she always gives her plenty of attention. She always goes above and beyond to make sure she’s well taken care of.
I have first hand witnessed the love that Keisha has for dogs. I really enjoy visiting her and her dogs as well as watching the fun things they do posted on Facebook. She takes time out of her day to play with them and she knows each of there personalities. She treats them like family. Keisha is where I got my pup and she sits for it already.
Keisha took care of my dogs while I went on Vacation for a week. She took such good care of them. She didn't just feed and water them, she made sure they were loved also. She checked on them twice daily, cause we have a doggie door for them to do their buisness. She even sent me a video of them so I knew they were doing really good. My doggs are my babies and I know when im out of town they are in great hands with Keisha. That makes me able to actually relax and enjoy my vacation. She has also taken my cats to the Vet for me when I could not get off work.
