Hey everyone! 🐾 We’re Keirsten & Alaya, and we’re currently offering dog walking and pet sitting services in the area! We’re two friends who work together to help care for people’s pups and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. ❤️ We’re available for: 🐶 Dog walks 🏡 Drop-in visits 🌙 Overnight stays / house sitting 🐾 Pet care while you’re away, whether it’s for a few hours, a full day, or multiple nights We’re generally available early mornings, late afternoons/evenings, and weekends, but our availability can vary depending on the date and length of care needed. If you or someone you know needs a reliable and caring person to look after their pup, feel free to message us! We’d be happy to talk about your dog’s needs and see if we’re a good fit. We both have experience caring for dogs and understand that every pup has their own personality, routine, and preferences. Our goal is to keep their normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable while you’re away.

We have a fenced backyard where dogs can safely go outside to play, relax, or get some energy out when appropriate. We’re also happy to take dogs on walks instead if they prefer walks or if their owner would rather they not use the backyard. We’re comfortable following your dog’s normal feeding and potty schedule, and we’ll always make sure they have access to fresh water. Since we care for multiple dogs ourselves, we understand how important it is to pay attention to each dog individually and make sure they’re getting the attention and care they need. For overnight stays and house sitting, we’ll do our best to keep your pup’s normal routine—including meals, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and bedtime routines as close to what they’re used to as possible.

Before caring for your pup, we’d like to know as much as possible about their normal routine and anything that will help us take the best care of them. Please let us know: Your dog’s name, age, breed, and general personality Their normal feeding schedule and how much they eat Their usual potty schedule How often they normally need to be walked or let outside Whether they are comfortable around other dogs, people, children, or other animals Whether they have any special needs, medical conditions, allergies, or medications Any medications they need and how you normally give them Their favorite toys, activities, treats, or ways to play Whether they are allowed to have treats and what kinds they can have Any behaviors we should be aware of, such as pulling on walks, barking, separation anxiety, escaping, chewing, or being nervous around certain things Whether there are any areas they should not go or activities they should avoid Whether they are allowed on furniture or in certain rooms Their normal bedtime and sleeping arrangements Anything else you normally do for them that you’d like us to continue while you’re away If you have a specific way you like things done, please let us know! We want to follow your instructions as closely as possible because you know your pup better than anyone. Your dog’s comfort and happiness are our top priorities.
A typical day
During our time with your pup, we’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, food, and fresh water according to their normal routine. We love being active with dogs, so if your pup enjoys playing, we’re happy to spend time playing with their toys, running around, or hanging out with them in the backyard when appropriate. If they enjoy going on walks and are comfortable with it, we’re also happy to take them on walks and let them explore at their own pace. We’ll always follow your instructions regarding exercise and activities rather than pushing a dog to do something they’re uncomfortable with. If you allow treats, we’re happy to give your pup treats as rewards for good behavior. We can also use treats during walks, training, or other situations where you normally use them. For overnight stays, we’ll also make sure your pup isn’t left alone for unnecessary periods of time and will give them regular potty breaks, attention, and opportunities to relax. We’ll keep an eye on them throughout the stay and let you know if anything seems unusual or concerning. Most importantly, we want your pup to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. We both have hands-on experience caring for dogs with different personalities, routines, ages, and needs, and we understand that every pup requires a slightly different approach. Keirsten’s Experience: 🐶 Experience working in a kennel/daycare environment, caring for multiple dogs at once and making sure they are safe, comfortable, and supervised. 💊 Experience administering pills/medications to dogs according to their owner’s instructions. 🐾 Experience caring for senior/older dogs, including being mindful of their slower pace, exercise limits, routines, and individual needs. ❤️ We personally care for four dogs together, and each of our dogs has their own individual needs, routines, and personalities. This has given Keirsten a lot of experience learning how to pay attention to each dog individually rather than treating every dog the same. 🏡 Experience with everyday dog care, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, monitoring behavior, and making sure dogs have a safe and comfortable environment. We both take the time to learn each dog’s individual routine and needs before caring for them. We also understand that some dogs need a little extra patience or attention, especially senior dogs, dogs taking medication, or dogs who may be nervous in a new environment. We’re comfortable following detailed instructions from owners and doing things the way their pup is used to. Our experience has taught us that good pet care isn’t just about feeding a dog and letting them outside—it’s about paying attention to their behavior, noticing when something seems different, respecting their boundaries, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away.
