I currently work part time at my local nature center 9am-2pm, 4 out of 7 days a week. Not long hours so I am able to walk dogs earlier and right after work. Or come back after work to pet sit if needed.

At an owners house I would ask the pet parent what they think would be best but at my own house I have a big backyard to play with any dogs in my care (leashed or off leash). Any food provided will be fed by instruction and if medicine is needed to be given I can assist with that as well. Always fresh water nearby for any fur baby in my care.

I would like to know any needs before hand like medical needs or disabilities, this doesn’t sway me but it’s good to know beforehand. I’m good with all breeds and sizes!
A typical day
I can provide lots of enrichment through toys, playing, puzzles, lick mats, etc. if your dog knows fetch I can also throw a fair amount! Just let me know what your dog and you prefer!

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Health and Behavior and currently work as an animal caretaker at my local nature center. I have hands-on experience with everything from daily pet care to administering medications when needed. Kiera is a wonderful caretaker. Our little dog, Angel, was very well cared for. Angel was homesick for her mama and Kiera provided many photos AND FaceTime calls. The house was in good order and would certainly hire her again.
Keira was great with my cat, especially with how skittish she can be. My cat even let her give her pets!
