Pet care is something that naturally fits into our daily lives in Manchester, as both my boyfriend and I are animal lovers who enjoy spending time with dogs. We have flexible schedules that allow us to dedicate time to caring for pets, whether it's going on regular walks, providing company at home, or keeping up with playtime. We both find spending time with dogs to be incredibly rewarding, and we’re excited to make pets another aspect of our lives.

We’re happy to care for pets in both our own home and in a pet owner's home, depending on their preference. If pets are staying with us, we make sure our space is safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly. We keep any potentially harmful items out of reach, and we have cozy spots for naps, toys for play, and a secure area for dogs to roam indoors. We do live in a terraced house with a fenced side garden and any pets we take care of are taken for regular bathroom breaks every 1-2 hours. If we’re in a pet owner’s home, we maintain the same level of care and attention as we would in our own home, making sure to follow any specific guidelines set by you or routines to keep pets comfortable. We’re both detail oriented, so we pay close attention to things like feeding schedules, preferred walk times, and any special instructions the owner provides.

Before taking care of a pet, we like to know a few key things to make sure we provide the best possible care. This includes: Personality and temperament: Are they shy, playful, or a bit anxious? Any triggers we should be aware of? Activity level: How much exercise do they typically need or enjoy? Dietary restrictions or feeding schedule: Any allergies, favourite treats, or specific meal times? Medical needs: Are there any medications, recent injuries, or health concerns to watch for? Special quirks or routines: For example, if they’re used to sleeping in a particular spot/time or have any habits we should know about. This will let us give your pet a better time when we're taking care of them!
A typical day
We love keeping dogs active and engaged, so we plan to include a lot of fun activities! Depending on the dog’s energy level and personality, activities could include daily walks around our local park or playing indoors. We’re also big on cuddle time and making pups feel safe and happy when they are missing you, so there will always be time for belly rubs and relaxing together.

Pet care experience
We're a couple who are missing our family dogs and looking for some extra company from a pup or two🐾. We've both had dogs all our lives so we know how much care and attention they need. We're fit, healthy and attentive so your pup will be in the of best hands with as many or as little walks as they like. We've trained our family dogs and can handle the cheekier pups too ❤️

Keira is such a lovely dog sister to her puppy Darla and has looked after her since she joined her family in lockdown – feeding her, walking her, training her and giving her all the love and attention she deserves! As a close friend, I've watched Keira take care of lots of different animals in her family including dogs, cats and chickens! She's the perfect pet caregiver, and I'd 100% trust her with any of my pets :)
