I just graduated from SJU and am working full-time at a nursing home in Wayne. I have my own vehicle and can care for pets before and after work as well as in the afternoon if needing during the week, with full time availability on weekends and days off. I am available for overnight stays and will prioritize your pet's needs while ensuring they receive regular bathroom, and meal breaks. My flexible schedule allows for breaks/care at 7-8:30AM, 12-12:30 PM if needed/able, and 6 PM-overnight, with more availability when I’m not working. I work M,W,T,F 9am-5:30pm and Tuesdays 11am-7pm. I work one weekend per month (9am-5:30pm Sat & Sunday) and am off the Monday and Friday when I do. I have a flexible lunch break and if I am able to, I am willing to check in on your pets in the afternoon.

I treat all pets like my own and guarantee that yours will be happy, healthy, and safe while you are gone! I try to adhere to your pets' schedules and routines while caring for them in your home. I will do anything I can to make sure your pet is happy, healthy, and having fun while respecting and taking care of your home. Expect plenty of updates and photos! Communication is very important to me and I will always let you know how your pets are doing, as well as send all the cute pictures I take along the way! I will do anything you need around your home while you're gone, including watering plants, bringing in mail and packages, or any upkeep you might need while gone! I’m taking care of not only your pets but also your home!

On a typical day, I will follow your pet’s schedule as closely as I can in order to keep your pet’s experience stress free while you're away. While working, I will feed/walk/care for your pet(s) around 6am-8am. If close by I can come back around 12/1, and return at 5:45/6 to stay with them. On the weekends or days I am not working, I will primarily be in your home hanging out with your pet(s)! I usually come and go while prioritizing your pet's needs I send regular updates and photos about how your pets are doing and what we are up to! I always keep pet parents in the loop so they can rest assured knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well-cared for. Expect to find me partaking in your pet’s favorite activities… whether that be going for a walk, playing fetch in the yard, taking a nap on the couch, watching tv, or sunbathing on the porch.

I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, temperaments, and special care needs, including anxious pets, seniors, and animals requiring medication. I am experienced in medication administration (injection and oral). I took care of my family dogs growing up. I would feed my dogs after I got home from school, walk them, bathe them, and give them medication. I have watched cats and dogs for family and neighbors throughout middle/high school. I began professionally dog sitting in college and now while balancing work and (online!) grad school! Kiera was AWESOME! So communicative and kind and helpful!!!!
Keira was awesome! She watched our dogs and house for a week and was communicative and flexible when we had travel issues. Would absolutely book her again - our two dogs loved her!
Kiera was wonderful. She was communicative and on a daily basis sent us pictures of our dog. She was also very easy to contact and very responsive. We are definitely using her the next time!
