Availability

My schedule is genuinely flexible. I work from home running my own businesses, which means I'm not squeezing your dog into a lunch break. Morning walks, midday check-ins, late pickups. I take one client at a time, so your pet isn't competing for attention with a houseful of other dogs. The day actually wraps around them.

Safety, trust & environment

My home is a house with a fenced yard in Green Valley South. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and the bed. That's not a policy. It's just how we live. When I'm at your place instead, your pet's routine stays exactly as you left it. Same schedule, same rules, same spots. I'm there to look after your pet, not redecorate their life.

Information Keinosuke (Kay) I. would like to know about your pet

A few things genuinely help me before we meet: any history of reactivity, resource guarding, or anxiety around new people or animals. Medical needs, medications, and feeding schedule. Whether your dog has spent time with cats before. How they handle being separated from you and whether they've ever bolted from a yard. None of this disqualifies your dog. It just helps me prepare the right environment and introduction. The more I know upfront, the better the stay goes for everyone. I'd rather over-communicate before the booking than figure it out after drop-off.

A typical day

Mornings start in the backyard. Off-leash time first, before the day heats up. After that we come in and they have free run of the house. Furniture is fair game, the couch is open, and nobody gets crated and forgotten. I work from home, so I'm genuinely present all day. Not checking in between meetings. Actually there. Afternoons depend on the dog. Some want another yard session, some want a walk through the neighborhood, some just want to park next to me while I work. I read the cues and follow their lead. By evening we've usually figured each other out pretty well.

Dogs Are Family Here!

Pet care experience

Growing up, our dogs weren't "pets." They had names, opinions, and their own spot on the couch. That's just how we did it, and that's exactly how I treat every dog in my care. I have real experience across the full spectrum of dog needs. Puppies who haven't figured out their own legs yet? Handled with patience and a lot of laughs. Senior dogs who need a slower pace, a softer touch, and maybe some help at medication time? Honestly, that's one of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon. Dogs with behavioral challenges or special needs don't make me hesitate. They make me pay closer attention. I've fostered young dogs and worked with strays to socialize them from fearful to fully adoptable. That kind of work teaches you things no training manual covers. Reading subtle body language. Building trust from scratch. Knowing when a dog needs excitement and when they need quiet. Every dog that comes through my door gets treated like family. Not like a booking. If you want to talk through what your dog needs before committing to anything, I genuinely love those conversations. Reach out!

Kay is a calm and reliable pet sitter. He was easy to communicate with, and we felt that he did a great job making sure that our cat was happy, well fed, and comfortable. I had mentioned that we weren’t sure how Albert would react to the July 4th fireworks, which can be very loud in our neighborhood, so Kay sent an adorable video of Albert calmly observing the firework displays from our living-room window. It was great not having to worry at all about our boy, or wonder if he was receiving the attention and company that he craves while we were gone. We came home to a calm, happy pet and a clean house. We will be happy to hire Kay again.

Kay is great with animals! I especially like how attentive he is with my dog and when he's out on a walk. He is very vigilant and aware of his surroundings. He did not rush affection/attention during our first meeting. He was very patient and let my dog come to him when she was ready. Would highly recommend him! Very friendly and has a calm energy that would not set any animal off.
