Safety, trust & environment
Safety is always first for the animals. I like to do check inns and make sure they are comfortable which you can tell through body language and ear positions. I always make sure the animals are comfortable during my stay.
Information Keiko N. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences, just honest dialogue on their temperament, behavior with new people where they are most comfortable, favorite activities etc. Its good to know how they are socially and how they interact with strangers, children or other pets we may see out and about and of course what you and your pet feel comfortable with. I'm fine with taking puppers to the dog park with a "one at a time" area. I have a ball thrower with me at all times for our high energy puppers. I like to know ahead of time if you have a fenced in yard or if I should plan around getting them to the park if they have that high energy that needs to be burned off. The greater Seattle area is very vibrant and eclectic one with moody weather so depending on where you are located we can plan our day of fun!
A typical day
Anything, you name it. We can hike, walk, go to parks, if you have an attachment we can go for bike rides. We can also sit at home and catch up on the neighborhood gossip, the birds are always chirping! :) it's always fun to surprise mom and dad with a new trick we've been practicing.

Pet care experience
I am a lifelong and animal lover. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, horses, ferrets, chickens and bird species, fish, reptiles, little critters and rodents. I have nurtured and cared for them throughout all phases and stages of life including temperament and energy level changes. I am comfortable grooming, training/teaching, walking, feeding, administering medication and of course playing with and caring for your fur baby. I am a volunteer at the Seattle/Bellevue Humane Society so there is continued education and experience with dogs and cats of all temperaments and trauma. I've been house sitting regularly for friends who's puppers and kitties are having separation anxiety as mom and dad transition back to work or have been hybrid. I grew up with a dachshund, rottweiler, spaniels, doberman and Schnauzers throughout my childhood. We also had Guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, snakes and stabled horses. I love animals of all kinds and sizes. I'm pretty confident they love me too! :) I am an energetic student with a flexible schedule and look forward to meeting your pets/babies! I love being active and binge watching TV shows, so I am available for the young and elderly. Please feel free to contact me to discuss my services. Thank you for reading. I’m back in office downtown Seattle M-F 9-4. Depending on where you are, it might be possible to take a lunch and let your dog out. It just depends Playing outside or practicing new tricks and skills is always fun for me! I live around lots of parks and trails are within 10 minutes of my home. I like to go with the vibe of my furry friends, high energy or low key is ok with me. Whatever you want me to focus on (snuggles socializing or behavior) I am excited to spend time with them.
Reviews

Keiko was great. She sent lots of picture updates and left the house spotless when she left. My dog takes multiple oral meds and she was able to give those without problem. Thankful for her care of my Lincoln and can’t wait to have her care for him again.

Our doggo loves her, we love her, she’s the best. Definitely, highly recommend!
Nice person but very disappointing. Keiko struggled with following basic instructions that were explained on 3 separate occasions (in addition to being written out for her), and did not seem to exercise appropriate judgment. While we understand our pup may not have wanted to eat much while we were away, which he needs to do in order to take his allergy medication, we can’t understand why she would have given him foods that he’s allergic to (especially since we were very clear that he cannot eat anything outside of the foods left out for him due to his extreme allergies). We had to communicate and offer guidance several times a day (often explaining the same things previously discussed), which made it difficult to just relax and enjoy our trip. In addition, we came home to a messy house and had to clean the bathrooms immediately…not a fun end to a long trip. Well intentioned but would certainly not recommend her to care for one’s animal

Keiko is absolutely AMAZING!! She feels like a part of our family, except only our fur family gets to spend time with her! Our dog is absolutely in love with Keiko. She has a very special way with animals. Our cat, who will NEVER come out of hiding when family watches him, comes out for her. She is completely trustworthy, we enjoy every interaction we have with her, and if she also watched children we would leave ours with her as well! We have no hesitations with her staying in our home while we are on vacation, and we can now enjoy our vacations knowing our animals are completely taken care of. We have nothing but raving reviews for her! You are very much missing out if you book with someone else!
