Hi friends, I’m Lani & dogs mean the absolute world to me 💌 I bond with them until they feel like my very best friend, and I will treat yours as such. I have owned three different breeds, and during college, worked at Shake a Paw Rescue and Adoption Center. I'm comfortable with grooming, walking, pet-sitting, and even overnight boarding, ensuring every dog in my care feels safe, loved, and well-cared-for! When taking on a new boarding/house-sitting client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to chat face-to-face about your care expectations and make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another! No one knows your dog better than you do, so these open lines of communication are a must with me. Kehlani is a lifesaver. With such short notice due to a family emergency, she remained caring, communicative, and super responsive, and she handled our crazy schedule and delayed flight issues with so much grace. We’re deeply grateful for how well she took care of our Dolly. 10/10 recommendation!
Kehlani took such excellent care of my dog Tyson when boarding him! She followed all of my care instructions perfectly and was communicative. I could tell from the pictures she sent that he was very happy in her home. She even trimmed his nails! I would recommend Kehlani 100% for pet care and will definitely be using her services again.
What we appreciate most about Kehlani is how personalized her care feels. She doesn’t just walk our dog, she understands him. She pays attention to his pace, the streets he enjoys, and even the way he reacts to other dogs. Her calm confidence fits the rhythm of our neighborhood perfectly.
We have one senior dog with medication needs and a cat who thinks he’s the landlord. Kehlani manages all of it effortlessly. She administers meds correctly, adapts each walk based on energy level, brings in our packages, and leaves the most thoughtful notes. It’s rare to find someone who is this organized and this loving.
When we rescued Luna, she was terrified of new people, sudden sounds, and even the leash. We were worried about finding a walker who understood reactive dogs, but Lani was amazing from day one. She let Luna set the pace, learned her triggers, and slowly earned her trust with patience and kindness. Not everyone has the intuition or heart for rescue pups, but Lani truly does. She’s a trusted partner in our dog’s progress.
I travel constantly for work and feel 100% at peace knowing Lani is with my fur baby. She sends the most detailed updates, notices small behavior changes, and goes out of her way to make my Maya feel comfortable. She’s become like family.

Programa
I work remotely, so I’m incredibly flexible and the girl you can call on last minute! I can board on weekends, host doggy day-care during the week (1-2 days notice) and offer multiple daily visits.

I am comfortable giving CPR if ever necessary (knock on wood!) and have 5+ highly rated Vets within just 2 miles of my home in Morningside Heights. I will always adjust my game plan based on your furry friend’s anxiety and comfort levels. I want them to feel as safe with me as they are when they’re with you!
Un día normal
I love to stimulate dogs physically and mentally. We’ll play a bunch of games, experiment with doggy yoga and check out all the new smells in my neighborhood. Bonus Point: I live directly below Riverside Park!
