I work full time in the office during the week, so I'm generally the best fit for pets who already have a midday dog walker, access to a dog door, or are comfortable being home during the day. If your pet's schedule is a little different, don't hesitate to reach out! I'm always happy to talk through your routine and see if we can find a plan that works well for everyone.

I live in a first-floor condo with easy access to plenty of green space, walking trails, and quiet neighborhoods for regular walks and sniff-filled adventures. Since I don't currently have pets of my own, your dog will have my full attention while they're here. I'll follow their normal routine as closely as possible and make sure they get plenty of exercise, enrichment, affection, and downtime. I know pets are happiest when their routine stays as consistent as possible. I'll follow your instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walks to medications, favorite toys, and bedtime routines—while treating your home with the same care and respect I would my own. You'll receive regular updates and photos, and if anything unexpected comes up, I'll communicate with you right away so you always know your pet is in good hands.

Based on my years managing a pet sitting company, I've learned that a successful booking starts with the right fit. That's why I require a meet and greet before accepting any booking. It's a chance for us to get to know one another, review your pet's routine and any medical or behavioral needs, and make sure everyone is comfortable before the stay begins.
A typical day
Your pet will become part of my daily routine while they're in my care, and I'll do my best to maintain the schedule they're used to. We'll start the day with their normal morning routine—whether that's breakfast, a walk, medications, or extra cuddle time—before I head to work. When I'm home in the evenings, we'll pick right back up with walks, playtime, dinner, and plenty of attention. If your dog needs a midday break, I'm happy to work with you to find a plan that keeps them happy and comfortable.

Hi! I'm Kiley, and dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Along the way, I've also had the opportunity to care for them professionally. For nearly three years, I was the General Manager of a large Alexandria-based dog walking and pet sitting company, overseeing a team of more than 40 caregivers, working with hundreds of clients, and helping ensure that every pet received safe, reliable, and loving care. While most of my professional experience has been with dogs, I also cared for lots of cats and understand that every pet has their own unique personality and routine. There's no substitute for patience, consistency, and paying attention to the little things. I've been lucky enough to be a dog mom for more than 20 years. From energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs, I've experienced every stage of life with them and understand how much they mean to their families. While I don't currently have a dog of my own, I genuinely miss having one in my daily life—which is one of the reasons I'm so excited to be on Rover. It gives me the chance to spend time with wonderful dogs while giving their families peace of mind that they're in caring, experienced hands. Having been both a professional caregiver and a devoted dog mom, I understand the trust it takes to leave your best friend with someone else. That's why I make communication, reliability, and regular updates a priority. I'm dependable, organized, and detail-oriented. I'll follow your pet's routine closely, administer medications if needed, and make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. Whether your dog wants an outside adventure, a leisurely neighborhood walk, or someone to keep them company at home—or your cat wants a calm, reliable companion, or someone to just keep the food coming and the litter box clean—my goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, and comfortable until you're back together.
