Hi! My name is Keegan. I've been around cats and dogs all my life. Volunteered for a short time at a shelter, where I was walking dogs and socializing cats. Recently I have been helping family, friends, and coworkers, as well as customers, with their dog walking and pet sitting needs. Twice daily I help care for two cats that are staying at a friend's place. In 2025, I fostered a dog named Buddy for 9 months. Whenever I'm out and about, I'm always checking out people's dogs, getting smiles and winks back, or stopping to pet someone's friendly cat. Love seeing them, or helping in any way needed, such as stopping to help round up a loose dog. Many success stories there. Have been able to rescue some kittens a couple times. When dog walking or pet sitting, I'm always keeping an eye on the furry friends, making sure they have enough water, that they not pick up something they shouldn't, or that instructions are followed about their care. I'm an athletic person, who likes walking/activity, so we definitely get a good length walk in, though I'm mindful of situations where the furry friend needs to take it slow, such as after an injury/surgery, or just to let them out to use the restroom, if a bit more aged, letting them smell the roses. Love getting kisses from the dogs during and after our walks, as well as spending some time afterwards giving them pets and praise, just enjoying the company, letting them sit on my lap, and thanking them always. I like giving them a bit more time for all that. I value the instructions that customers leave about their furry friends, as they have useful information about the care needed. It makes things easier for everyone. Also fine to contact me at any time to check on how things are going, or to ask about or remind me of something. I think the reward in all this is gaining the pet's trust, and seeing them happy at the end of the experience--happiness and love that will carry forward to when their mom or dad gets home. I am working full-time during the week, however, with notice, I am able to walk a dog early in the morning, or ask for time off to pet sit or give a dog walks. I have free availability on the weekends and mornings until 10. Therefore, I've marked my availability as pretty open.
