Safety, trust & environment
When it comes to going on walks, I have experience with strong dogs who pull on the leash, reactive dogs (both positive and negative reactions to other dogs and people) and muzzle training/wearing. I have experience with crate training, as the rescue that I fostered with requires that all of their dogs be crate trained.
Information Keegan C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if there are any triggers that I need to look for/avoid on walks such as other dogs, people, and what you think the best way to defuse their anxiety is (removing them from the situation, distracting with toys/treats, etc. ) If they have any areas on their bodies that they don't like people touching or if they are defensive of food, their bed, toys, etc. If there are multiple pets, are there things I need to look out for to avoid fights over food, treats, toys, etc.
A typical day
I love to take them outside to play in the yard, or take them for walks. Or for the lazier pups, snuggle on the couch and give plenty of belly rubs.

Former Dog Foster Mom
Pet care experience
I've taken care of friends & family's dogs for the past 10 years, however for the past year and a half I've been a certified foster with The Grateful Dog rescue. My first foster, a two year old bulldog mix I had for 10 months. With her we learned leash training and manners/boundaries with other dogs. My second foster, was a 7 month old pitbull mix who ended up being a medical foster that I had for 5 months. With her, we learned house training, leash training, muzzle training, crate training, and basic commands. She was also extremely anxious and fearful with other dogs & people, so we did a TON of work to get her ready for getting adopted into a new environment. My last foster, was a two year old bulldog who needed a space with a structure and a schedule to help with his anxiety of being re-homed twice. Due to my apartment, I'm no longer able to foster, however I've taken on the role of event coordinator which often involves handling anxious/nervous pups in the high energy environment of adoption events. I've been missing the dog snuggles and walks and joined Rover to help fill that void.
Reviews

Keegan was an absolute delight while I was away for several days, taking care of my pups at home. Not only is Keegan highly qualified with animals, but she also has an exceptional ability to communicate effectively with humans. Keegan is an excellent choice if you’re looking for someone to take care of your furry ones.
Keegan makes a difference in all of the lives of the foster dogs she has had and will do the same for any she walks or sits for! She makes time for her pet while also gracefully balancing her work and social life. Her pet's life is always first in her mind. She is energized and always ready to take on a new task and always puts her all into what she is doing. She will be the best dog walker or sitter you ever hire!
When it comes to Keegan, I have never met another person patient, caring, or kinder than her who treats every animal sweetly who has come into her care as if they were her own. If there is someone I would trust to take care of my pet whether it be for a brief few hours to a few days, it would be Keegan. Seeing how she interacts with pets as well as the beautiful dogs she has helped to finding their forever home, it is truly amazing to know there are people out there who value not just the lives of those thy care about but also lives that others care about.
I may be partial as Keegan’s mom but she has loved animals since she was little. We surprised her with a dog when she was in high school and she loved Tucker more than anything! She stepped up and always took amazing care of him! She has fostered dogs the last couple years and again, proud mom! These have been challenging dogs, requiring surgery, crate and potty training, and soo much love. She is simply an amazing care giver for dogs! ❤️
