I work a fully remote job that has a very flexible schedule. If I do have meetings they are usually in the middle of the day. With the help of Mike we can accommodate any schedule!

Over the past few years I've been trying to learn as much as possible about dog body lanuage, which is very important when pet sitting or volunteering at a rescue. I move slowly with every dog and cat and go with their pace. At home, my blue heeler has been known to dart out of doors so I am very careful with doors. I will crate your dog if wanted or will make sure there are no hazzards left out for your pet to get into. I also have all of the emergency pet hospitals in area in my phone for my epileptic pup, so I'm always ready in case of emergency.

I'd like to know as much about your dog as I can so I'm prepared and know exactly how to make your dog's stay with me as fun and the least stressful it can be. I have no breed restrictions, I have two mixed-breeds myself so I'm open to any pup. I would also like to know any behavioral quirks or triggers, as well as things that really excite your dog!
A typical day
With any pets I watch I try to keep their normal routine as much as possible, that means walks, fetch, dog park, lick mats, tug, anything that will make your dog feel like it's just a normal day. There are so many hiking trails around that I love to take my dogs on, or we can just hang out on the couch and watch a movie. It's really up to your dog!

This profile is shared with my husband, Mike. Depending on booking details it will be either Keah or Mike who watches your pets. This will be discussed prior to any bookings. Keah - Ever since a young age I've had a passion for animals, wanting to be a vet for a while until I realized putting down animals was part of that job. Now a days, I have realized that my passion lies more in rescue, so much so that I am using the funds from here to save up for my own rescue. For now, I volunteer as much as I can at Pawmetto Lifeline and Final Victory and foster when I can. Currently I have 2 dogs, one blue heeler and one pitbull mix. They both have their own set of quirks, my blue heeler came to us with unexpected aggression issues and my pitbull developed epilepsy about 7 years ago. With both of these circumstances came unique training, treatment plans, and ongoing support which has really grown my passion for taking care of animals. To say they are a part of my family is a understatement. My aggressive blue heeler is now just a grumpy old man that is somewhat dog friendly and my pitbull's epilepsy is under control. All of this to say, I love animals, I have experience with behavoiral quirks and medical needs (one of my fosters had a leg amputation under my care, now I love tripods!), and am up for any special needs your animal might have! I can even help train while with your dog if wanted. I have also taken care of cats, chickens, ducks, and bunnies, so if you have a farm I'm down! Mike - since meeting my wife 11 years ago she has shared her love of animals with me. I grew up in California in apartments so having pets was not in the cards, but over the last 10 years I have had the pleasure of taking care of our two dogs plus countless foster animals that have come through our house. I am comfortable with most animals, besides snakes I'll let my wife take care of those!
