I work from home very often, and my wife works from home daily, so we have plenty of time to spend with your pups. They are free to go anywhere except the kid's room.

We have a large fenced backyard and one female labrador who loves to swim and play fetch. We only take friendly pups who can get along with the other pups.

Information Kazukiyo K. would like to know about your pet
1) Can your pup be walked off-leash on trails where "off leash under voice control" is allowed and come back when called? We keep all dogs on leash while walking on the streets and near parking lots, but we only take dogs who can walk off-leash at places like Crissy Field, Alta Plaza, and Mountain Lake Trail. 2) Does your pup bark or whine if we are out of sight for a moment (e.g., when we go to the garage, bathroom, storage, etc.)? 3) Does your pup have separation anxiety and bark or whine if left with other dogs, even for a short period of time? Sometimes, we may need to run errands. 4) Is your pup sensitive to small noises (e.g., footsteps from upstairs or the sound of a garage door closing), and do they bark at them? 5) Is your pup very playful even after a walk? We work from home, so we don't take dogs that are very playful or energetic even after a walk (my dog and all of our guest dogs like to sleep under the desk/table or in the backyard most of the time after a morning walk). 6) Does your pup still break furniture, shoes, socks, etc? 7) Is your pup potty trained? We don't take a dog who needs a pee pad. 8) May your pup feel stressed when staying with multiple dogs? We try to limit the number of dogs to a maximum of 4, including Sora, but sometimes we may have more, especially during a long weekend or holiday season. 9) Can your pup walk long distances because we tend to go on long hikes? We want to provide all guest dogs with a comfortable environment, so we appreciate you answering those questions.
A typical day
The pups start their day by taking a long walk along the trails of Presidio, Crissy Field, Alta Plaza Park, Fort Mason, etc. They can access the backyard all day. We go for another walk in the afternoon, but we try not to return to where we went in the morning.

Pet care experience
[IF YOU BOOK WITH US FOR THE FIRST TIME, PLEASE ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS BELOW AND UPDATE YOUR PUP'S INFORMATION.] We only accept pups over 2 years old, weighing 30 lbs or more, who are spayed/neutered and can be walked off-leash with good recall on trails where "off leash under voice control" is allowed. Both our own dog and the dogs we board have low to average energy levels, and they all enjoy relaxing after walks. Therefore, we do not accept high-energy dogs. We have already received many requests, especially during the holiday season, and we apologize if we are unable to accept a new dog, as we want to prioritize our current clients. My wife and I live in a 2-bedroom + den condo with a large backyard in Cow Hollow/Marina, where we raise our grade-schooler and a 14-year-old female black Labrador, Sora. We both have many years of experience raising dogs (I've been with dogs since I was 10) and can't think of living without a dog! My wife works from home every day, and I often do too, so we don't take a playful pup (Sora sleeps under the desk or the table most of the time. She prefers a tranquil environment, and so do we). Our unit has two floors. The lower level faces the backyard and has direct access to it. Dogs with trouble going up and down stairs are unsuitable for our place. We usually visit Presidio Trails, Crissy Field, Marina Green, Alta Plaza Park, Fort Mason, Bernal Heights, or Glen Canyon Park. We also visit Pine Lake Park (Stern Grove) and let our pups play in the off-leash area, so we only accept dogs that can walk off-leash. Since we have a child living with us, we appreciate that your pup can also get along with kids. We don't accept a dog who requires a pee pad and barks or whines when we are out of sight. When you send us a booking request, please update your pup's information (vaccination, age, etc) and send us a message with the answers to the questions below (Due to our HOA agreement, we can't accept the breed / any mixed-breed of Doberman, Mastiff, Pit Bull, Press Canario, and Rottweiler). Basically, our drop-off/pickup times are from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. When our clients drop off or pick up their pups, other pups might get excited and bark, and we don't want to disturb the neighborhood with that. Therefore, we are generally unable to respond early in the morning or late at night. We're sure your pup will love our large fenced backyard, where Sora and other dogs often enjoy sunbathing together. My wife and I work in the den right next to it, and we love seeing them relax there!
Reviews

Our pup loved the long, wonderful walks through the park!

This was my first time boarding Valero, so I was a little nervous. He was well cared for and had a great time with Yuko and her family. They sent me pics daily of their adventures as well as chill time at home.

Fantastic experience. Thank you.

Truly an incredible operation!! My dog had an incredible week with Kazu. Looking forward to the next time!!
