Paws and Relax, I Got This!
I’m a lifelong pet parent and animal lover, I’ve fostered several cats and dogs of all sizes whether it be stray dogs that showed up at my doorstep or cats from the Cat House on the Kings cat sanctuary. Although I don’t foster anymore, it has given me many foundational skills such as administering basic medications orally (pill and liquid form), eye ointments, ear drops, flea baths, bottle fed kittens and puppies. I know what signs to look for if an animal is under any distress, pain, and signs of lethargy. I understand the importance of maintaining consistent training practices and will happily follow any house rules that may still need some practice for your pet. I am a fairly active person, I have my undergrad degree in Kinesiology Exercise Science and can handle more rambunctious and energetic dogs that may need more play and mental stimulation throughout the day. Safety, trust & environment
I do not offer boarding in my own home at this time, however I will ensure your pet is safe with me. I am meticulous when it comes to ensuring gate latches, doors locked, fences closed, harnesses/leashes strapped and adjusted accordingly. If your pet is crate trained I will ensure they can’t escape and nothing can get in to potentially harm your pet as well. Safety is my number one priority with having fun being a close second.

Kaytlain is an amazing helper. I really appreciate the care and kindness she gives to our dog. I love reading the reports and seeing the pictures of the time she spends with little bear. It describes so vividly what he’s doing and the fun he has when they are together. I’m so thankful to have Kaytlain be there when we can’t be.

Kaytlain was an exceptional dog and house sitter! She stayed at my house for 3 nights to care for my dog. During that time she kept me apprised via text and photos of how it was going. She was thorough, efficient, prompt, caring and attentive. I was reassured that my dog was in safe hands!
Thank you Kaytlain for doing a great job with Little Bear. I can tell that he really enjoys the time you spend with him. I feel much better knowing he has a friend that stops by and spends time and plays with him every day.

Schedule
My schedule is fairly flexible at this time as I’m attending grad school through a hybrid format for the next couple years. I can adjust my schedule accordingly to accommodate house sitting and drop ins.

- Please let me know about any special needs, or quirks. If they have a tendency to hide or be more shy or the opposite if they’re very playful and require lots of stimulation. I’d also like to know any special requests when it comes to meals, food toppers, vitamins, & treat distribution throughout the day. For cats I’d like to know where the litter and scooper is located, if the cat has a tendency to hide or hangout in a particular spot, if they prefer to be up high in a cat tree or low hiding under furniture. I want to do my best to keep your pet safe and comfortable so their care is seamless while you are away.
