Pet care experience

A teacher, a fireman and your dog!

Hi there! I’m so happy you stopped by. 🐾 I’ve been caring for dogs professionally for over 15 years, and I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else. Animals have always had a huge piece of my heart, and if your pup stays with us, they’ll be treated just like one of my own. (Fair warning: they’ll probably get told how handsome or pretty they are about a hundred times a day!) I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, personalities, and needs, from energetic puppies to sweet seniors and dogs who need medications or a little extra patience. Every dog is different, and I love getting to know what makes each one feel happy, comfortable, and at home. I work full-time at a local high school, and my husband is a firefighter, so between the two of us, there’s usually someone home. Your pup won’t just be another dog staying at our house. They’ll be part of the family while they’re here. We have a big fenced backyard that’s perfect for zoomies, squirrel watching, or just soaking up the sunshine. We also have two friendly dogs who love making new friends, but if your dog would rather have their own space, that’s perfectly okay too. We always let dogs settle in at their own pace. Whether your dog loves to play, snuggle on the couch, or simply nap in a sunny spot, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for every step of the way. I’ll also send plenty of updates and photos because I know how much it means to see that happy tail wag while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! ❤️🐶

Kaylynn was great. Took care of both our dogs on a last minute booking, kept me posted and my dogs truly enjoyed their stay. They got spoiled :)

Kaylynn was so sweet and they were so easy to work with! The dogs came home tired and happy. We would use her again in a heartbeat if we need a sitter in the area again!

Took great care of my dog while I was away. Saved me in a pinch over thanksgiving when my usual Dogsitter was out.

Schedule

I work at a local high school Monday through Friday, and my husband is a firefighter who works a 24-on, 48-off schedule. Between our schedules, someone is often home, so your pets won’t be left alone for long. I’m available before and after work on weekdays, and all day on weekends, holidays, and school breaks.

Safety, trust & environment

I care for every pet like they’re one of my own. Whether I’m in your home or they’re staying with me, their safety, comfort, and happiness always come first. I’ll stick to their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications, and of course, plenty of love and attention. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, favorite toys, little quirks, and anything that helps them feel safe and comfortable. I also treat your home with the same respect I would expect someone to treat mine, keeping everything clean, secure, and just the way you left it.

Pets

A typical day

Every pet is different, so I like to follow their lead! If they love adventures, we’ll go on walks, play outside, or head to the dog park (with your permission, of course). If they’re more of a couch potato, I’m just as happy to spend the day playing in the backyard, tossing their favorite toy, giving belly rubs, or snuggling up for a good nap. My goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! 🐾

Every pet is different, and I love getting to know what makes yours special! Tell me about their routine, favorite toys, quirks, medications, anxieties, or anything that helps them feel comfortable. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I welcome dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities! 🐾
