I recently relocated back to California from Lake Lure, North Carolina. My entire community in Western NC was devastated by Hurricane Helene and I was evacuated and returned home near my family. I have enjoyed all of the amazing dogs and animals I have had the pleasure of sitting in the past through Rover.com. Now that I am back in CA I would like to continue my work with animals. I am a responsible caring person who loves animals and am currently available to help with your pets in Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, or Santa Ynez Valley.

A typical day
A typical day will include several walks and potty breaks, and of course.... play time! I love to play with animals while I am sitting and thinks it's important for them to have attention and exercise. (especially when they are missing their parents)

Pet care experience
I've been blessed to have had dogs and cats most of my entire life. This is the first time I haven't had my own dog and I miss her daily. Pet sitting fills a void in my heart and I will do everything to ensure your pet is happy, healthy and well taken care of.

Kaylynn was one of the best dog sitters we’ve ever had. She was able to dog sit on short notice. From the moment I met her, I felt confident that she would take excellent care of my 2 dogs. She kept me informed of how things were going which eased my anxiety about leaving our dogs. Our home was in immaculate condition when we returned and our dogs were very well care for. I will definitely rebook with KayLynn for any future needs!
KayLynn was a caring, loving pet sitter for our two dogs and cat. She come when expected and needed, reached out immediately when there was a problem, and let us know how our pets were doing. She also made sure we were home OK before ending her wonderful service. I highly recommend her.
Kaylynn stepped in for us at the last minute!! Traveling in our Motorcoach & staying nearby, she answered our call at 9:30 the night before. She graciously welcomed our boy, Barney into her lovely home. While we were touring BILTMORE estates, we received text & pics of our boy. Thank you, KayLynn for taking such good care of him. We definitely recommend KayLynn!!!
We went on a cruise and left our Maggie with KayLynn. Our shitzpoo is not comfortable with anyone but us, but with KayLynn’s kind loving heart, she won Maggie over, got her to eat and take meds. KayLynn sent pics of her playing and kept us updated. We were able to relax knowing our girl was in doting hands. I am totally comfortable leaving her with KayLynn and absolutely would recommend her to anyone needing a sitter.
