Kaylyn is a natural with dogs and has the patience, gentleness, and attentiveness to care for dogs and cats with all kinds of personalities. I’ve seen her work with Winona and the animals of her friends and family. She’s taken the time to teach a puppy commands, follow a training routine, and help with crate and potty training. She’s also offered to help trim her best friend’s dog, Luna, as she continues learning and developing her skills as a self-taught groomer. What stands out most is how closely Kaylyn pays attention to a dog’s comfort and behavior. She recognizes signs that a dog may be uncomfortable or reactive and takes those cues seriously to help keep them safe and happy. She’s honest, communicative, and dependable, and she keeps Winona’s co-parent updated on how she’s doing and anything that comes up. Seeing the care and responsibility Kaylyn puts into looking after Winona and other dogs has even made me consider getting a dog of my own. I’d trust her to care for a pet and would gladly recommend her as a thoughtful, reliable sitter.

Kaylyn was a delight! She so clearly loves and appreciate any dogs around her. She is attentive and eager to make sure my little one is feeling good, has everything she needs and is comfortable. Kaylyn is patient and makes sure to double check with me that she is being the best caregiver for my dog Penny. My dog Winona, a 6lb Pomapoo, adores being taken care of by Kaylyn. She is on her best attention doing tricks, earning treats, and getting relaxing downtime cuddled up next to her on the couch. I highly recommend Kaylyn for Rover. Kaylyn goes above and beyond with every dog that she takes care of. Not only is she extremely loving and fun, making sure each dog feels special, but she also truly understands that dogs feel the most enriched through training. She constantly goes out of her way to not only reinforce the training that they have but teach them new tricks so every pup feels special and accomplished.

Kaylyn is great with dogs of all personalities. I have one rambunctious, high energy Belgium mal that can be a handful. She is very consistent with the training commands we have introduced to him and is one of very few that can handle him! I always return to him tired and happy. I also have an anxious, timid pit mix that needs a lot of attention and can also be difficult due to her high anxiety. Kaylyn has a very gentle soul, and impressively created a special bond with my dog Luna. She has food allergies and medications she needs to take daily, and Kaylyn has never missed a beat. I once thought finding a good caregiver for both of my dog’s intense personalities was going to be impossible, but I luckily stumbled upon Kaylyn and am so grateful for her ability to balance both of my dogs needs. Sometimes I come back from vacation and my dogs are more sad to see Kaylyn leave than happy that I have arrived! She is a true gem.
