I am a full time student with a flexible schedule. I am in the final stages of writing my thesis and no not have commitments on campus other than on Wednesday’s from 10-12:30, which mean I have the ability to prioritize your pets needs.

Before caring for your pet, I always make sure to get all of the essential details that would prepare me for any scenario. My goal is to make sure your pet has as little difference in care as possible compared to when parents are home. Whether it’s assuring your expert escape artist stays indoors, or keeping an eagle eye on any sign of a string or hair tie begging to end up as a snack, I will have the same level of diligence for their safety as you do. Communication about their quirks, health concerns, and preferences helps me form a safe and positive bond while in your home or on walks.

A day with your pet depends on their energy levels. Some pets just want a lap to cuddle on, and some are eager to explore. One of the reasons why I love being a Rover is my love for walks, and I always look forward to exploring our beautiful city with your pet. I have a lot of experience with high energy dogs, both reactive and non reactive, leash pullers and non leash pullers, and have worked with many families who are actively training for better walking behavior. Just let me know what their idea of fun is, and I will be their favorite pet sitter!

Being raised in a family with roots in agriculture means that I have had a life blessed with ample opportunities for pet care. Upon moving to San Francisco for grad school and leaving family pets behind, I jumped on the opportunity to care for a mutual friends pup when they travel. Taking care of dogs and cats in the city not only provides me with supplemental income while finishing my Master’s degree, but provides me with the fulfillment and joy I get out of caring for the pets that make this world a better place to live. Let me help you by providing an stress-free experience of care for your fur baby(ies), whether they be big or small, shy or social grumpy or cuddly, sick or healthy.

Kaylyn was incredible to my sweet Yuki and Cleo! It’s so clear how great K is with animals and how much care she puts into them. They warmed up to her so fast and she took such excellent care of them sending updates throughout the stay! Truly so delightful and easy to schedule and work with K! Absolutely will book again!
Kay was an absolutely wonderful caregiver and sitter for my large, excitable chocolate lab. She has always been reliable and worked with him to improve his pulling on walks! She was patient and kind while working with him, but was an absolutely perfect playmate when he needed to get energy out. I always trust her to stay in, and take care of, my home as well when sitting. Overall, she is an excellent temporary stand-in guardian for pets and I would recommend her to anyone in need of a Rover!
