I currently work full-time in lansing from 8:30am-5pm M-F. I love animals and have extra time so I would like to make additional income! I am available after work or on weekends as long as I get enough notice.

I just need to know what special responsibilities I will need to accommodate for a pet. I don’t have a preference for pets. I care about all of them and am willing to provide each breed with any required needs, love and attention.
A typical day
I will take the pet on walks, play games with them, and give them lots of pets. I will also brush the pet if the owner asks me to, and I would love to take them to parks if I have permission!

Pet care experience
I have had a dog in my family since I was a toddler. In my life, my family has had one Golden Retriever, and 6 Pomeranians. We rescued 3 of these pups! And all at one time, we had 4 Pomeranians - making me have to really help out with training and dog care. My family has always been passionate about animals, specifically dogs. We emphasize the importance of taking care of a pet as if it’s a family member. I grew up helping take care of them: Training, walks, runs, bike rides, meals, hiking, car rides, cuddles, brushing, baths, vet appointments. Additionally, I always ensure my rescue dogs feel comfortable in their new home. Naturally, all dogs are easily comfortable with me. I always drive hours home just to spend time with my fur babies with my parents. Once I learned about this app, I instantly downloaded it. I’m so excited to spend my free time doing something that makes me happy!

Kaylena did a great job with our two dogs while we were out of town. I will most defiantly use her again if she is up for it.
Kaylena house sit for a last minute need. She was very communicative and sent lots of photos. She went above and beyond. Will definitely try to rebook in the future.
