Having had dogs in my family for as long as I can remember as a child, I knew as an adult it was natural to have a dog of my own. For almost 11 years we had our energeric Frenchie, Wilsie, she filled our hearts to the brim with love! In Oct 2022 my husband, Andrew, and I welcomed our son and he and Wilsie were besties. Unfortunately we recently lost Wilsie in June 2025 after a short illness, and despite having a toddler running around the house now feels remarkably quiet without her pitter-patter of tiny paws. I work from home half the week while our little one is in nursery so I have plenty of time for doggy cuddles and attention. While our journey on Rover used to be about dog sitting to give Wilsie some four legged company it is now to help fill a void in our hearts!

Kayleigh was superb, I went away and left my boy in complete confidence that he would be looked after and loved. Kayleigh gave photo updates and messages daily 😀, nothing puts your mind at rest more than a picture of a wagging tail from your pet. Thank you Kayleigh for being the perfect host for my boy, I know Hamish would love to come back and stay again with you and your gorgeous family ❤️🐾
Kayleigh & her lovely family were the best dog sitters for my dog Alfie. Kayleigh was so patient with him and understanding regarding his separation anxiety and gave him lots of cuddles when required. Alfie had lots of lovely walks and Kayleigh kindly sent lots of photos daily which was great. Our flight home was delayed by over 7 hours so unfortunately we couldn't collect Alfie on the evening that was scheduled but Kayleigh quickly put my mind at ease and said it wasn't a problem and we collected him next morning instead. I would definitely love Kayleigh to look after Alfie again.
Another amazing visit at Kayleigh’s for Freya! Completely exhausted when she got home! Kayleigh and her family treated Freya as part of the family with plenty updates through the day! Thank you so much! Freya looks forward to another visit soon!

Kayleigh did a great job of looking after Rufus. She is a great communicator who kept us up to date with photos to reassure us that he was in safe hands.
Kayleigh did a brilliant job looking after Fred for a couple of days. Communication was excellent throughout and we really appreciated the frequent updates. Fred was well looked after by the whole family and even made a new friend in the very cute Ziggy. Highly recommended.

Schedule
As I work from home it gives me the flexibility to get out the house for breaks and walks as often as the dogs and I want. I do go to the office on Albert Street twice a week and take dogs we pet sit for, as it is only usually me there or me plus one other.

We have an open plan downstairs, double doors leading into a good sized fenced garden and we are happy to sofa share for the furry cuddles!
A typical day
We have loads of chewable dog toys. We also live on the outskirt of the city (next to Dobbies garden centre) and very close to forest and park walking areas. I have a car and like to drive to local areas for walks if it fits in with the days plans. My office is located in the Westend (near Corner Tree cafe) so I go between these two areas a lot and can take bookings within both locations.
