Information Kayleigh K. would like to know about your pet
When caring for a dog, it is very important to me to be fully informed about the dog’s individual needs. This includes understanding any medical conditions, special needs, medications, dietary restrictions, allergies, or behavioral considerations. I prioritize following all care instructions carefully and consistently to ensure the dog’s health and safety. I also value clear communication with the owner regarding routines, preferences, emergency contacts, and veterinary information. Being prepared and attentive allows me to provide reliable, personalized care and respond appropriately to any situation. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for the dog while they are under my care.
A typical day
A typical day caring for a dog involves maintaining a structured routine that supports both physical exercise and mental stimulation. The day begins with a morning walk or outdoor activity to allow the dog to exercise, relieve itself, and start the day calmly. Meals are provided according to the dog’s dietary schedule, followed by interactive play such as fetch or tug to encourage physical engagement. Throughout the day, I incorporate mental stimulation through basic training exercises, puzzle toys, or reinforcing commands to promote good behavior and cognitive activity. I ensure regular bathroom breaks, provide companionship, and monitor the dog’s comfort and well-being. In the afternoon or evening, the day typically includes another walk or outdoor play session, followed by feeding if required and a calm wind-down period. My focus is always on maintaining consistency, safety, and enrichment to keep the dog happy, healthy, and well cared for.

Pet care experience
From a very young age, I have had a strong appreciation for animals of all kinds. I was raised in a household with multiple cats and dogs and was frequently responsible for their care. My responsibilities included training puppies, feeding animals dry food, wet food, and bottle feeding when necessary, as well as ensuring they were taken outside for regular bathroom breaks. I currently have a cat of my own named Walter and also provide dog-sitting services for family friends. :)
Reviews
Kayleigh would be an amazing pet caregiver as she’s has many years taking care of her own pet as well as other pets of friends and family. Her own cat is perfectly taken care of given all the food, attention, care and love needed for the pet to be as well taken care of as possible. Kayleigh has a huge heart and a passion for animals making her the best candidate for a pet caregiver.
