I’m pet lover with a degree in animal behavior looking to help you care for your furry friends! I love spending time with animals and have found ways to incorporate that into my professional and personal life. I’ve worked as a bather at a grooming salon, provided daily care for all the animals at a livestock and pet rescue organization, and as a behavior intern for dogs at an animal shelter. These jobs have given me years of hands on experience caring for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, cows, and horses. I’ve also had experience providing basic grooming services, like nail-clipping and ear cleaning, and using positive reinforcement training for behavior modification in dogs. I have bachelors degrees in Biology and Psychology and a PhD in Animal Behavior. I also have personal experience caring for my own pets, cats, hamsters, a turtle, and a dog, and regularly pet sitting for friends. All of these skills give me the background knowledge and experience to give your pet the best possible care while you’re away!

Your pet’s safety is the most important thing to me. I pride myself on having clear and frequent communication with pet owners while I’m taking care of their pets and I will keep you updated with pictures and updates at least once per visit!

I cannot recommend Kayleigh highly enough! She took absolutely amazing care of my puppy Bunny while I was out of town for an extended trip. I was a little nervous leaving a rambunctious young puppy for that long, but she immediately put me at ease. She sent me frequent, detailed updates and photos every day, took Bunny on lots of walks, played with her, kept up with her routine, and clearly gave her so much attention and affection. Bunny looked SO happy and comfortable the entire time. She also went above and beyond in ways I never expected. Bunny happened to lose several baby teeth while I was gone, and she actually saved and cleaned them for me after I mentioned I wanted to keep them! She even washed the sheets, pillowcases, and towels before I got home. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for puppy and my apartment in great shape. She was incredibly responsible, communicative, thoughtful, and clearly genuinely loves animals. I would trust her with Bunny again in a heartbeat and will absolutely book her again. Truly a wonderful sitter!

Kayleigh did such a great job with my shy dog, Toast! She was so patient and attentive. I’d absolutely recommend her!
Kayleigh was SO good with our cats! She made sure they both had all their needs attended to and played with them so they didn’t get bored or lonely while we were away. One of our cats is skittish and he took to her really quickly. Our other cat is a SLOW eater but she made sure he was getting enough nutrition. Such a wonderful sitter!
Kayleigh was very communicative, which I really appreciated. She also let me know when her schedule changed so she could accommodate my needs. I recommend!

Schedule
I’m currently working with a variable schedule so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I’m generally available afternoons and evenings but check my calendar because my schedule changes!
