I’m pet lover with a degree in animal behavior looking to help you care for your furry friends! I love spending time with animals and have found ways to incorporate that into my professional and personal life. I’ve worked as a bather at a grooming salon, provided daily care for all the animals at a livestock and pet rescue organization, and as a behavior intern for dogs at an animal shelter. These jobs have given me years of hands on experience caring for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, cows, and horses. I’ve also had experience providing basic grooming services, like nail-clipping and ear cleaning, and using positive reinforcement training for behavior modification in dogs. I have bachelors degrees in Biology and Psychology and a PhD in Animal Behavior. I also have personal experience caring for my own pets, cats, hamsters, a turtle, and a dog, and regularly pet sitting for friends. All of these skills give me the background knowledge and experience to give your pet the best possible care while you’re away!

Your pet’s safety is the most important thing to me. I pride myself on having clear and frequent communication with pet owners while I’m taking care of their pets and I will keep you updated with pictures and updates at least once per visit!

Kayleigh was great with our dog, Monty! She is trustworthy, pays attention to detail, prompt, and is obviously skilled with animals. She is kind and patient even with some of Monty's quirks like lots of barking and excitedness over meeting new people. I would recommend her to anyone that needed pet care!
My babies, Rita and Apollo, just absolutely love Kayleigh! She is VERY reliable, has great communication, and she’s super responsible. I can leave my pets guilt free when Kayleigh is their sitter.

Schedule
I’m currently working with a variable schedule so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I’m generally available afternoons and evenings but check my calendar because my schedule changes!
