Hi! I’m Kayleigh, an animal lover with a lifetime of experience caring for animals and a background in professional equine care. I’m comfortable with animals of all personalities, from energetic and playful to shy, senior, or needing a little extra patience and attention. I work with horses professionally, so animal care, safety, medications, feeding routines, and recognizing when something isn’t quite right are all things I’m very familiar with. I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals—not just checking in and leaving. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, feeding, companionship, or someone to keep their normal routine while you’re away, I’d love to help! I’ll treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and send plenty of updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. 🐾 I have experience with service dogs, big dogs, small dogs, hyperactive dogs, and senior dogs. I have managed horse farms in the past so I am used to seeing it all. I am available throughout the day. I do tutor a few children a few hours a day but it leaves my schedule pretty open. I can't wait to do the same with your dogs.

Kayleigh is confident and trustworthy and had an immediate calming influence over our three coonhounds. She overnighted 12/27-30 and kept us informed of our dogs' activity throughout our trip. We returned to a clean house and happy hounds and we hope to use Kayleigh for all of our future trips!

Schedule
Animals are already a big part of my daily life! I spend much of my day caring for horses and am used to structured feeding, exercise, and care routines. Pet sitting fits naturally into my schedule, and I’m able to give dogs and cats plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I’m comfortable working around different schedules and following each pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

# How I Care for Pets I treat every pet like they’re my own! I follow their normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and rest, while giving them plenty of attention and affection. I’m experienced with animals that need extra patience or specific care instructions and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how they’re doing while you’re away.

A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. A typical day includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or walks, playtime, and plenty of attention and cuddles. I’ll make sure they get exercise and enrichment while also giving them time to relax. I’ll keep an eye on them throughout the day and send you updates and photos so you know they’re happy and comfortable!
