I’ve had dogs in my life ever since I was young, taking care of them has always been a passion! I have years of professional experience working and volunteering at multiple shelters and rescues as well as working with Great Dog Rescue to provide foster homes for dogs in need. We ended up ‘foster failing’ and now have two amazing dogs. I rescued my other dog from the side of the road and he has enjoyed his adventure of a life ever since. He has extra medical needs so I am skilled in administering medicine and giving extra love and care. I love going on hikes and would love to bring your dogs with me if they are in need of getting some energy out!

Great communication. My boys loved her. She sent updates daily and was super sweet to them and they had lots of park play time.
I had my dog, Willie, stay with Kayleen for 18 days and he had an absolute blast. I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone needing a place for their furry friends to stay. Her price was incredibly reasonable and my dog was given a vacation of his own. Kayleen’s dog, Mister, and my dog became great friends. I will always contact Kayleen when in need of boarding my dog.
Kayleen did a wonderful job with our dog, and even went out of her way to help when we had some extraneous problems. Highly recommend.
Kayleen is amazing! She willingly agreed to meet in advance to get the keys and let me explain in person about the cats like a crazy cat mom. It was the first time I’ve ever left the cats in the care of a stranger (vs a friend/family) and she made me feel so much at ease! She is kind, thoughtful, detailed, and so friendly! She left detailed notes on her visits and took pictures and gave lots of love to my babies. I didn’t have a minute of worry while I was out of town, and that was priceless. I would hire her again in a second!
Kayleen is great to work with and excellent with dogs. Our dogs were happy to have her come by to go outside with. We would definitely use Kayleen again.
Kayleen was super friendly, has experience working with animals, was on time and did everything according to our instructions. Packer and Lady Romy loved her and were excited to see her when she arrived- especially Packer. I could tell by the pics she sent. She also took the time to meet us prior with out rushing, We would definitely work with her again!

Schedule
I work part time as a server at a restaurant and spend most of my time at home, on my farm, building, cleaning, and caring for my animals. I am looking to slowly grow my own small business and raise chickens and goats as well as grow my own veggies and fruits. My husband and I just relocated here and we are excited for the change! I will have abundant time for your fur babies, to take them on walks around the property, let them run in the field on a runner, and play with my dogs. They will get extra attention and love if you book with me :)

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a quiet area with no other houses around, we have 32 acres for your pup to have all to him/herself! I ensure that all dogs are on leash unless specified by the owner that they are good at recall. I use runners and long leashes so they have freedom and also stay safe. Soon we will be fencing in some areas of the property so the pups will have even more freedom! We have plenty of dog beds and even a dog couch for your pup to relax on inside. I also have multiple crates (if your dog is crate trained) that we do not currently use for my dogs as well and numerous separate areas for your pet to get their own personal space. I can cater to whatever needs your dogs or cats have at my home as long as they are dog-friendly, my dogs are calm and always happy to welcome another friend into their home. At your home I will meet whatever needs and guidelines are set to make your dog happy and comfortable.
Pets
A typical day
If you choose me to watch your dog, I would love to take them on hikes around miles of woods surrounding our property. I will let them sniff to their heart’s content and make sure to bring lots of water and treats to keep them going, stopping at the creek to rest and cool off along the way. I also will give them all the belly rubs, pets and cuddles and play with them will their favorite toys. Our wide open 6 acre field is a great place for fetch and to get those legs moving! If your pup loves to run this is the place for him/her.
