Availability

I have a lot of availability for pet care in my schedule, I do have college classes I must attend and the occasional appointment with these being non-negotiable blocks of time I must leave the clients home to attend (which will be discussed ahead of time). However aside from that I have a plethora of time available to dedicate solely to your pet(s). *jobs that are “constant care” and/or have strict rules regarding how long the pet(s) can be left alone WILL incur a surge charge.

Safety, trust & environment

I haven’t had a pet escape or get lost on my watch yet, and I don’t plan to start now. My childhood dog escaped once as kid, and even thought he was quickly found, it made me realize the horror of potentially losing a pet. As a result, I take pet safety very seriously. I will not walk a dog without a leash. I always double and triple check that doors are closed/locked (when appropriate).

Information Kaylee S. would like to know about your pet

There is almost nothing you can tell me that will make me outright reject a booking. I’ve worked with a myriad of different animals with complex needs. Not potty trained puppies, elderly dogs who need daily medication, aggressive dogs with resource guarding, I’ve seen it all. I love all pets, in all the forms they come in with all their eccentricities. All I ask is that during the meet and greet you be honest and as detailed as possible. Let me know if your pets not potty trained, needs meds(oral and/or injectable), has a special diet, has aggression issues, a bite history, resource guards, doesn’t like other dogs, fight with other pets in the home, barks excessively etc. I’ll work with you and your furry friend as long as I’m informed ahead of time.

A typical day

I love going into the backyard or any open space like a living room and throwing a ball/toy around with any dog clients. For cat clients I’ll do the same inside the house with a cat toy. Getting the “zoomies” out is an important and fun part of my per care routine. Then mandatory daily cuddle sessions (on the pets terms of course) to make sure they feel the love.

Hello 👋🏻 My name is Kaylee and I’ve been a professional pet sitter for about 5 years now. Over the course of those 5 years I’ve cared for all of the following animals: dogs, cats, birds, fish, snakes, turtles, lizards, hamsters, rabbits and horses. I’m in college getting an animal science degree and I’ve worked with a wide age range of animals. From puppies all the way to senior dogs and kittens all the way to elderly cats. *please know that while my listed prices are accurate additional surcharges may apply. She had legitimate concerns about not wanting to complete the house sitting job, but handled it in an emotionally immature way that lost trust in having her in my home. I can't speak to her abilities as a pet sitter as she only made one check in.

I hired Kaylee to sit at my home with my Belgian Malinois with separation anxiety. I appreciate her quick responses thru the Rover App, and her willingness to arrive for an early morning appointment. We will definitely call Kaylee again in the near future.

Very disappointed with the services received from this person. From beginning to end, the communication was horrible which should have been a huge red flag. She intially told me she was off of work and would be able to care for him then the day before I left for vacation, informed me she had to work and King would be alone until 7:30pm each night which was unacceptable. This put me in an extremely bad position to which she agreed to get off of work by 5pm each night to make the situation work. However, the worst part of this is that Kaley did not properly care for my dog. King went without potty or water breaks for 16-17 hours on some days because she missed his evening break and "accidentally overslept" many mornings which caused him to also miss his morning feedings. When questioned, she always had an excuse. One time, she left the house 20 mins before his feeding time stating she had to run errands and get herself something to eat and as a result he ate 2 hours late. I don't feel this person cared about my dog at all. When I returned home he required an emergency vet visit due to a severe skin irritation that broke out all over his body that she failed to notify me about and instead allowed it to progress to an infection. This person does NOT care about animals and I would not recommend her. In addition, she did not follow basic house rules that I provided and I felt she completely disrespected my household.
