Our goal is to help owners with dogs with separation anxiety, issues staying home alone, or that don't do well at facility type boarding. We do this in our living room/kitchen area that is right when you walk into the house. There is also a doggy door that goes out to the backyard. Our cat stays in our room as she doesn't like to explore and gets nervous, so if your dog is not good with cats, that is not a problem.I currently stay home and we offer temporary emergency placement for dogs and network rescue placement for them. We have a set-up for them downstairs so the dogs never cross paths to ensure safety but all dogs must have all required vaccines and proof will be asked for prior to drop off. My son, fiancé, and I have three dogs. We all love animals and taking care of them is always a priority in our family. We've owned pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, chickens, and more in the past!

I usually ask the owners of animals to leave a note or just tell me beforehand all the details of what needs to be done to care for their pets. When I have extra time I spend that time hanging out with all the dogs!

Information Kaylee S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any behavioral issues that I need to be aware of, for example: food aggression or being mouthy. Kennel aggression is a must know as well. I need to know of that detail especially since I have a child under 3 and need to know if the kennel has to be in a place where he cannot go near it. Usually I set up the dogs I board in my living room but they can be set up in my bedroom if needed for a more quiet environment and for safety reasons. None of these are problems I can't deal with, I would just like to know ahead of time. Also please let me know a little bit about your dog's personality! Every dog is different and I would love to know more about your pup before I watch them! :)
A typical day
I absolutely love bringing the dogs I watch on walks! But just cuddling on the couch works fine too! Whatever your pet is the most comfortable with! We also have toys out to play with as well.

I'm a Ground Support Coordinator for The Retrievers and help in rescuing and catching dogs. Some of the photos I have on my profile are of dogs I've rescued and found foster-based placement for. I have experience working with pets with human aggression.I grew up caring for many different animals in my family. I have experience working with dogs that have trauma or may have been neglected in the past.. I have administered medication to both cats and dogs too!
