I’m currently a student at Pitt, and I also work a part-time job at Victra. The great thing is that my school schedule is half online, which gives me plenty of flexibility during the day for pet care. I can easily plan walks, drop-in visits, and playtime around my classes and shifts. Since my classes aren’t back-to-back and I manage my own study schedule, I have open pockets throughout the day and evenings to spend time with your pet. Whether it’s early morning potty breaks, midday walks, or afternoon play sessions, I’m more than happy to accommodate whatever your pet needs. Animals are a huge part of my life, so I love being able to fill my days caring for them while balancing school and work. It’s something that fits naturally into my routine and brings me a lot of joy

Safety, trust & environment

If I’m caring for a pet in their own home, I make it a priority to keep their environment calm, clean, and consistent. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully from feeding routines to walk routes, to bedtime rituals. I love sending photo updates to let pet parents know how their furry friend is doing, and I always make sure the home stays tidy and secure before I leave.

A typical day

A typical day with your pet would start with plenty of love and attention! Whether it’s a long morning walk, some backyard fetch, or a cozy cuddle session, I always tailor our time together based on your pet’s personality and energy level. If your dog loves adventure, we’ll go for walks around the neighborhood or visit a local dog-friendly park for fresh air and new sniffs. For high-energy pups, I like to play games like tug-of-war, fetch, or puzzle treat games to keep them mentally stimulated. For the more laid-back, older, or shy pets, we’ll enjoy calm activities like brushing, gentle play, or sunbathing on the porch while I keep them company. Throughout the day, I make sure every pet I watch feels safe, loved, and entertained — with belly rubs and treats (if allowed, of course!) as a bonus.

Pet care experience

What sets me apart is the personal, hands-on experience I’ve built over the years. I have two dogs of my own that I’ve trained myself, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement when working with animals. I’ve also grown up around all kinds of pets — from dogs and cats to guinea pigs and even lizards — so I’m comfortable caring for animals with all kinds of personalities and needs. Because I’ve cared for both young, energetic puppies and older, laid-back pets, I’m great at adjusting my care to fit each animal’s age, energy level, and temperament. Whether your dog loves long walks, needs help with basic manners, or just wants a buddy to hang out with while you’re away, I’m happy to meet them where they are. Most importantly, I treat every pet I watch like they’re my own — with kindness, respect, and plenty of belly rubs.
