I love playing with your pets and giving them as much time to run and play or walk as possible. I make sure to use the entire time caring for your pets needs and making sure everything goes well. If you’d like I’d love to work on my training skills along with your dogs obedience! My training methods utilize positive reinforcement and I’ve had great results with dogs of various breeds!

It is important for me to know as much about your dog as possible before meeting them. Any medical issues and behavioral quirks (such as resource guarding, dog or leash reactivity, etc) would be necessary for me to know in order to properly care for your dog. I’d also greatly appreciate knowing any of your dogs known commands or favorite toys/treats in order to spoil your babies while keeping their commands sharp!
A typical day
Depending on the services you ask for. Your pets and I will enjoy walks and cuddles along with some play time. If you would like, I love to take dogs to the beach as it’s my dogs favorite place in the world.

Pet care experience
I’m an animal person through and through, just ask anyone who knows me. I’ve always been passionate about them, so my first ‘job’ at 10 years old was pet sitting for my friends and family. I have experience with a wide variety of animals, from four legged to none! I worked in an animal shelter through high school, there we took in cats, dogs, and various rodents who needed new homes. As my headline indicates, I also have experience with livestock. I have cared for horses, donkeys, cattle, poultry, and I even raised goats in high school. I have worked as a kennel tech at Seaside Animal Hospital on SSI and I currently work as an education and husbandry staff at Tidelands Nature center. I also attend CCGA to achieve my undergraduate degree in Biology, my goal is to attend veterinary school in the near future. My personal, nonhuman family currently consists of a dog, Boots, a cat, Lyra, two snakes and an adorable gecko, all are rescues from various places and conditions. I promise to care for your animals like my own, and as a pet parent I recognize that every individual animal has differing needs. Because of this, I ask you to provide me with any specific information to your pet such as dietary needs, any behavioral issues, any training goals I can help with, etc, in order to make my visit with your babies go smoothly!

Kaylee was wonderful, when we met I could tell she has had a lot of good experience with working with animals. We've never used Rover before and were nervous about leaving our babies behind for the week, but it went wonderfully. We looked forward to getting the daily updates with the pictures. If you're on the fence about using Rover, definitely do it, and if you can book Kaylee she is awesome! We will definitely use her again when we travel!
