I am a PET LOVER . I treat my furry four legged friends like family members. My house consists of three young children 12 and under who adore pets and are a huge part of the positive environment in my home - lots of love and warmth. During the most part of the day ... the kids are at school. My husband works from home and I'm currently at home not working. I have one five year old Golden Retriever and one fifteen year old Siamese cat who sleeps for the majority of time. I allow my dog to roam downstairs which is plenty of space for first floor. My entire house is 3400 square feet . The dogs are welcome to go in and out as they please . My fenced in backyard space will allow for plenty of sunshine and lizard watching time ( my dogs favorite thing to do). There are dog beds - several around the lower level and my husbands office is downstairs so this is where copper hangs out most of the day . Please feel free to send your pets own bed or comfort items. My furry guy gets walks during the day and also frequent visits to the dog park for ball throwing which he absolutely adores . I can either stick to leashed walks or happy to take your baby along to get a ball throwing work out . I have been around pets my whole life. Whatever it is you need or request--I can handle . Special diet, medication and seniors - I've done it all.

This was my first true experience having a dog sitter and boy did Kayla blow it out of the water. I was extremely nervous finding someone to care for my two golden retrievers, that I’ve had since they were both babies, and finding someone I trusted to watch them was anxiety inducing. Long story short I am in a hotel temporarily with the doggos until our new home is ready and finding care was imperative. After scrolling through some rover profiles, and finding Kayla’s page I sent her a message and we initially did a meet and greet! Phenomenal idea to ensure the doggos get along and for me to know exactly where they’ll be and see the home, etc! My Golden’s were given love and then some more!!! They were even taken out on a field trip to a softball game where they got even more lovings. My Golden’s Rosie & Delilah made amazing friends with Kayla’s Golden, Copper, and overall I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitting experience and I feel so reassured knowing I now have a trusted, affordable, genuine pup sitter. My babies received immense love from Kayla along with everyone in their family. The children were beyond caring and sweet to the girls and they absolutely adored them. They were with Kayla and her family for 2 full days last week, one for a very important medical appointment that I couldn’t miss. After picking them up the first day I was floored when one of my Goldens ran away from the car as we were getting ready to leave and ran to Kayla’s front door. She had so much fun she did not want to leave!! The second day before leaving I asked if they wanted to go see Kayla and Copper and both of them bounced up and started running around. Thanks a million Kayla, you took so much weight off my shoulders and the updates throughout the day were adorable!!! You’re the best!
Kayla kept my 2 pups safe and happy during our week of vacation. She sent pics and updates so I was always reassured. When my lab had worsening allergies and developed a skin infection from scratching, she agreed to take her to the vet and groomer, which was helpful. She was very welcoming to them, and it was a bonus that she let them on the couch, someone was always home, and has a golden retriever and kids to play with them, so they were always comfy and relaxed like they are at home.
Our lab had a great time at Kayla’s playing with her golden retriever and kids. It was a hot day and the dogs are allowed inside to stay cool and get out of the heat. Kayla and her family were very accommodating- it was a great first experience with Rover!
Our dog stayed with Kayla and her family while we were on vacation and she took such great care of her! Our dog got lots of attention and cuddles, which she loved, and we got lots of updates and pictures, which we appreciated. Highly recommend Kayla for your pet sitting needs!
Unfortunately, we found Kayla a few days before we moved to Texas. I wish we had known about her years before! We have one large dog who just went through surgery and two small puppies that are extremely high energy. She and her family were so great with all of them. She provided pictures while we were gone and gave great updates that really made us feel like our dogs were having a great time. Cannot recommend Kayla enough to anyone who needs a dog sitter!

Schedule
I am currently not working and spend a lot of time in the house besides dropping my kids to and from school. They will get plenty of human interaction, rubs , walks and treats !

Safety, trust & environment
Our house is bustling with energy while the kids are home. If it's a week day then it will be quiet most of the day while they are at school. Copper and any dog friends visiting get to come and go as they please . We have a fenced in back yard. Copper loves to get sunshine , vitamin D and his favorite acvitivty is patrolling the premises for lizards that may be hiding under patio furniture or the deck box. My husband works from home and has his office downstairs so copper loves to hang out in there and be next to his human friend while he's resting . I have lots of dog beds placed in various spots around the house . I only let copper ( and his dog friends) downstairs which is very spacious. The dogs are allowed to lay on the couch. They will get walks and trips to the dog park for ball throwing if they like that sort of thing (my boy loves playing catch). I am excited to welcome your baby inside my home while you are away.
Pets
A typical day
Your fur babies will get plenty of attention and love. They will have lots of opportunities for play time and to get energy out with daily walks. I also like to take my golden to the local dog parks for some ball throwing fun. My neighborhood is hoppping with grass hoppers, crickets and according to my toddler, a million rollie pollies. Copper loves all of it. There is not one blade of grass he hasn't sniffed and I am sure he will be excited to show the neighborhood off to his visiting companion.
