Hi, my name is Kayla and here is a little bit about me! I am a senior at Oakland University studying human resource management and currently work part time as an HR intern. Alongside, I used to head coach for Lake Orion's dance team! Some hobbies of mine include going for long walks, cooking, working out, or spending time with friends and family. I am looking for a part time job I can do on the days I don't work at my internship. I would be happy to help in anyway possible! I have 4 years of experience with pet care. I have pet sat for an 11 yo golden retriever and a 2 yo husky mix. I grew up with two chihuahuas and my family now currently has two siamese kittens that are 3 years old! I just recently got an apartment in Rochester and unfortunately no longer live with my cats, which has me missing being around and taking care of animals! I can board, perform baths, take for walks, play time, bathroom care, and assist with proper feeding schedules.

Schedule
As it is summer, I am not currently in school. I currently work part time as an intern at an automotive supplier. As interns are not able to be full time and I just recently got an apartment in Rochester, I am looking for another job I can do on the side. I love animals, love going for walks and working out, and currently miss my pets I had back home before I moved out. I felt like this would be the perfect opportunity for me! My schedule is free any other time that I am not working, which is flexible and most of the time remote. I also get an hour lunch at work that I am able to leave the office if need be. I am willing to communicate and work something out if need be for any reason!

I have a very outgoing, fun, and playful personality with pets! They will feel very welcomed and safe in my space. I do not have any pets at my apartment currently so they, and you do not need to worry about that. My apartment has a really great dog park at it, as well as many great areas to walk and play! Rochester is perfect for having a pet. I also have a very clean and tidy apartment perfect for a pet to spend time at if needed!
A typical day
A typical day with a pet includes plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I start by making sure they have fresh water and food, followed by a walk or playtime to help them burn energy. Throughout the day, I provide companionship, potty breaks, and activities based on their individual needs and personality. I make sure they stay comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. In the evening, we'll enjoy another walk, play session, or cuddle time before settling in for the night. My goal is to make pets feel happy, loved, and stress-free while their owners are away.
