Availability

I currently work part-time as a server, so weekends tend to busier. I am still willing to do check-ins and walks during the day, but may not have as much availability at night since I usually work dinner shifts, but if I'm available I'd love to spend a non-scheduled day with a dog.

Safety, trust & environment

I always make sure I have access to the owner by phone, am aware of any medications needed and how to distribute them, and know the reactivity of the dog while on walks (and I have experience with reactive dogs).

Information Kayla W. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog takes any medications/medical conditions, has any allergies, is reactive on or off leash, the best length of walk to tire out your pup, and their favorite treats.

A typical day

I love playing with dogs, from fetch to tug of war to their favorite enrichment activities. Walking is always fun, but my favorite is cuddling and giving belly rubs/treats.

Pet care experience

I've had dogs my entire life and learned from an early age how to care for them and handle them. I've also been recruited by neighbors to walk their dogs, check in on them, and pet sit. I've had a dog that's been in every stage of life (from ten weeks to 14 years) and love/care for them at all ages. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and love all breeds and personalities!

Kayla has been an absolute godsend for our family and our dog, Sauske. Over the past two years, she's become someone we trust completely—not just with our pet, but in our home. What sets Kayla apart is her reliability and communication. She responds promptly to booking requests, whether we need daily walks or overnight care, and has consistently come through for us during last-minute emergencies. She shows up on time, every time, and sends us lovely updates that let us know Sauske is in great hands. Kayla goes above and beyond in her care. She feeds him, administers his medication, ensures his water bowl is always full, and handles any accidents without hesitation. But what really impresses us is how much Sauske adores her. He walks further and with more enthusiasm on her outings than he ever does with us. She treats him with genuine affection—the kind of care you'd give your own pet—and it shows in how happy and well-cared-for he is. We couldn't ask for a better caretaker. Kayla has our complete trust and gratitude.
