I love all creatures large & small
I have been caring for animals in some capacity for as long as I can remember! Aside from my personal animals, I have provided pet care for friends & family, worked as a veterinary assistant, and am currently a second year veterinary student at the OSU CCVM. One of my beliefs is that each animal has a unique set of needs, both mental & physical, and as such I strive to adjust my approach to meet their individual needs to the best of my ability. I am a Fear Free certified professional.

At this time my services can only be offered where the pet resides. I am open to staying overnight, performing a few daily check-ins, or whatever will make the pet the most comfortable in your absence.

I needed a pet sitter on short notice after my regular sitter had to cancel. I was hesitant to use Rover, as I have always had friends or relatives pet sit. I reached out to Kayla after reviewing her profile and positive reviews, and she was very responsive. The meet and greet went very well, and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog and cat in Kayla’s hands while I was on vacation. Kayla was absolutely wonderful!! She stayed at my house to ensure there was no change in routine for my dog and cat. She provided updates with photos, and I was able to enjoy my vacation without having to worry about my dog and cat. My house was spotless when I returned, and I could tell that my dog and cat were well cared for when I was gone. I highly recommend Kayla!!!
Kayla did an amazing job taking care of our 2 month old puppy. She was patient with potty training and puppy behavior. It was our first time leaving our puppy, yet she eased our worries with her knowledge and love of animals. Kayla made our puppy feel safe and cared for while we were away. She kept us updated, and was very responsive. We will definitely book Kayla again in the future.
Kayla has provided exceptional care for my dogs, goats, and horses over the past several years. She is always on time, pays attention to the details, and communicates regularly via text/phone with any questions or emerging concerns while I am away. I appreciate her gentle approach to caring for each of my animals and recommend her to others as well!

Schedule
I am currently in school which runs approximately 8am to 4pm with an hour lunch break at noon. I will be able to offer one potty break throughout the day but can spend ample time with them during the evenings.
