I care for pets as if they were my own and I am very aware and respectful of the lengths pets can be alone for per the parent's request. I keep homes the same way you leave them, bring in the mail and packages, water plants, and most importantly I ensure all doors to the home are locked and secure each time I visit and/or stay the night. Your pet's safety is my top priority when I'm with them. Please let me know any information I may need to help keep them safe and healthy while you're away.

Before I can accept requests, it is important for me to be informed of your pet's specific needs to determine if I'm able to give them the kind of care that you prefer. Please message me anything I should know! If I am able to help out, I always require a meet & greet before booking requests. :) Important notes: - I cannot accept pets who are possessive, aggressive, or have severe anxiety for the safety of them and myself. - I cannot accept requests from new petowners that are not more than a few days out because I require scheduling a meet & greet with your pet prior to the booking.
A typical day
While all of my visits are personalized to best suit your pet's needs, I love to spend lots of time outside with your pup (if weather permits). Whether it's by walking them around the neighborhood, throwing a ball around the yard, running laps around the pool, or even just sunbathing with lots of scratches and cuddles, I love doing whatever makes them the most happy! I have lots of experience with high-energy needs and love to play with pups inside and outside the home. If you have kitties, I love playing with them using feather wands and lasers, tossing a treat down the hallway so they can chase and attack it, or just simply brushing them with love and cuddles. Let me know what your kitty loves the most! :)

Hi, thanks for checking out my profile! I began my petsitting experience up in Northern Colorado 6 years ago all through college. I'm new to Richmond, but I'm excited to meet new furry friends! I have many references and am very comfortable with getting to know the unique personalized care you give your pets so that they can feel just as comfortable with me as they do with you.

Kayla took such wonderful care of our two cats while we were away. She truly went above and beyond, not only making sure they were fed and cared for, but also spending time with them, giving them attention and keeping us updated with messages and photos. Kayla was an incredibly outstanding sitter for our two animals (a cat and a rabbit). She consistently had great communication with me throughout my booking, and she went above and beyond in caring for our little guys - asking if she could help with litter box refreshes, changing water, spending time brushing our kitty. I felt that our animals were in great hands while I was away, and the daily pictures solidified that. I would recommend Kayla to anyone looking for a dependable sitter. She's the best!
