I’ve loved animals from a young age and have always helped friends, family and people in my neighbourhood with dog walking, cat sitting and looking after their pets. I’ve also cared for my own pets as well as regularly look after my dad’s cats and dog when he goes away. I’ve also worked in a veterinary practice where I was able to gain hands on experience with a range of animals, including feeding and caring for cats and dogs, handling them, cleaning up after them, taking dogs for walks and making sure they were comfortable and well looked after. I’ve also completed dog first aid training. I’ve also worked at Pets Corner, where I gained a lot of knowledge about pet nutrition, basic anatomy, puppy training, enrichment and stimulation.
