I am currently a stay at home mom, but I used to be a dog walker, and I miss it so much! I have lots of availability, as I spend pretty much all of my time at home.

My dogs are like my children, and I always put their safety and any animal’s safety first. I make sure I don’t take more than one dog at a time to ensure the dog I am with gets all of my attention. (Unless requested). I love socializing dogs in the right setting but think it’s important to spend one on one time with each dog.

If your pet has any allergies, or behaviours I should know about, please let me know. I am comfortable in administering any medications that may be needed, along with any special feeding instructions or requirements. I have experience with dogs of many different breeds, temperaments, disabilities, and ages. But I have not met one I do not love ❤️
A typical day
I can be as laid back or high maintenance as you (or your pet) wants me to be! I like to use puzzle feeders and brain games with my dogs to keep them busy. I will play fetch in the yard, go for a leashed walk, or take them to their favourite off leash park, if that is your preference! I would also be more than happy to work on possible training during their stay with no extra charge.

Hello! I’m Kayla. Since I was a baby, I’ve loved animals. The older I get, my love for dogs seems to grow stronger. I am a certified dog trainer through Animal Behaviour College. I have 2 dogs of my own and I will definitely take care of and love any animal as if they were my own.

Our little guy seemed perfectly content when we got home after Kayla stayed at our place with him for 4 nights and she left our place spotless. She was great at communicating with us throughout her stay as well. We will for sure book with her again!
A serious incident occurred while picking my dog up. To all dog owners, please carefully evaluate the compatibility of your animals with any sitter, especially those with dogs of breeds who have reputations for being dangerous. Check references, and verify claims of dog training credentials.
Kayla was amazing with Jackson! I never felt worried as I knew he was in the best care:) I would definitely recommend Kayla she’s fantastic!
Kayla and her partner were so wonderful with both our dogs. She was patient and flexible with our changing plans and even accommodated the pick up and drop off. Both dogs came back happy, tired and clearly well care for. I will definitely be hiring Kayla again. I also loved that she sent us updates with photos so that I could see the fun they were having.
