Aloha! My name is Kayla. I’m originally from the island of Maui. I have an undergrad degree in childhood development, and a Registered Behavior Tech cert. I’m also a proud military spouse of 18yrs, and a mom to a 6yo. We move every 4years and have been stationed in San Diego, San Francisco, Puerto Rico, Oahu and currently Long Beach. I come from generations of family surrounded by pets. We consider them family members. I grew up most of my childhood caring for pets (3dogs, 2cats). My husband and I adopted 2 cats of our own from a non profit rescue agency. One of our cats got diagnosed with cancer later in life and we cared for him until we had to say our heartbreaking goodbyes. Our other cat (18yo) is still with us today! We also have experience fostering puppies with a non-profit Sato rescue organization in Puerto Rico. We look forward to getting a dog of our own, once my husband retires and we move back to Hawaii in a few years!

Kayla is an amazing dog sitter! She has excellent communication & sent several pictures throughout the day. She was also very flexible with a last minute request and went above and beyond with walks, ensuring that my fur baby was nice and tired. Would absolutely recommend!!!
Kayla watched my dog for an extended stay recently and was amazing. She did a fantastic job of sending me updates throughout my pups stay with lots of pictures included; I could tell from the photos that he settled right in and was very comfortable with her. I will definitely be using her again in the future and would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter.

I had a great experience with Kayla taking care of my dog. She was great with communication and provided updates and photos. You can tell her and her family have a love for dogs. My pup came home happy and relaxed.
Kayla was great with Richard. She sent us pictures and updates often, and we could tell he loved staying with her. She also made pickup and drop off very easy for us and was very accommodating. She handled Richard’s dachshund quirks well.
Kayla was fantastic! She was kind, trustworthy, and took great care of my cats during her drop-in visits. She handled feeding, playtime, and bathroom needs perfectly, and I came home to two happy, well-cared for kitties. I highly recommend her services!

Schedule
My availability is very flexible as I am currently the homemaker, I’ll be able to give lots of attention to them! We are also an active family that enjoys being out doors.

I’m very respectful and will remain confidential of clients and their home. I am able to share updates (photos/notes) throughout visit/walks as well as an end of check in/walk report.

A typical day
If there are any dog friendly parks or beaches nearby I’m open to walking dogs to play there. I can also play fetch for high energy dogs. All my services include photos and daily updates.
