I have a full-time job at a Dog Boarding Facility so I typically work 3-4 days a week, but I get lots of breaks so I can take your babies for nice walks or playtimes! I have my work schedule posted two weeks in advance so I am always updating my availability for the week!

I will be doing it at the client's home, just because I have my pets at home. If I am just walking or playing with your animals, I ask you to tell me about your animal and let me know where toys, leashes, collars, water, etc. can be found. Is there a certain area you would like your pet to be in when I leave? I will take your dog(s) for a walk, making sure they use the restroom before heading home just to prevent accidents. For playtime I will do whatever the dog or you want me to do! :) Then when I leave I will make sure everything is how I left it! If I am staying at the client's house, my goal is to make sure your animals are happy and that your house is as I left it. After work I will be with your animals, I ask you give me a list of what times they normally eat, go potty, etc. I ask to provide me their vet and also emergency contacts just in case. I will also provide my emergency contacts just incase I cannot be reached. I will make sure your animals are well taken care of and make sure to clean up after myself when you're coming home! :)

A typical day
My favorite thing to do with dogs is go exploring! Going on tons of walks and playing ball. If they’re not into playing ball I do like bringing some sanitized dog puzzles I have at home and using those to help keep them interested! Snuggling is always a given!

Hello, my name is Kayla and I am a 26 years old who is passionate about animals! I have a degree in Animal Sciences from Colorado State University. Currently, I have 2 cats, 1 dog, and a snake! In the past I have owned dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, amphibians, and fish. I have extensive experience working with livestock as well! I have worked at 2 different boarding facilities in the past 5 years, and have extensive knowledge on different breeds of animals. I have volunteered at many different animal shelters as well as interned at Veterinarian hospitals and clinics during my high school years. During college I worked at a Veterinarian clinic as a Vet Assistant, I am qualified to give CPR as well as knowledge in administering certain medications. I have taken care of puppies, geriatric, disabled, and hospice animals as well! :) I love working with big dogs the most! I have lots of experience with them, even multiple big dogs at once. I am very good at understanding body language, and I have worked in the past with leash reactivity.
