My professional background includes 9 years as a veterinary assistant and several months working in an animal shelter. My greatest joy was found working with the cats and small dogs, including the sweet, the spicy, and the timid one. I understand how stressful it can sometimes be for your pet to have a stranger in their home and I take pride in my ability to make them feel comfortable and safe in whatever way that means for them. I have experience giving medications including insulin injections, topical treatments, and oral medications.

Kayla did an AMAZING job with our anxious kitty while we were out of town. She provided photos and updates daily and immediately put us at ease. Schedule
My current work schedule allows for morning and evenings visits, however, midday/lunch time visits may be difficult to accommodate on weekdays (weekends are open for any time of day).
- CatsKayla can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- I only request full disclosure of any medical or behavioral concerns with your pet that may impact my ability to care for them. I cannot diagnose or treat any health or behavioral issues but I am comfortable helping to manage existing care in most cases.
