Former athlete eager to run & play!
My husband and I live in Elgin, are young professionals and avid dog lovers. We grew up with and raised large and small dogs (best of both worlds). We're both active former athletes and eager to care for your dog! A typical stay includes proper exercise such as walks around the neighborhood, fetch in our fenced yard, or lounging inside with lots of pets! For overnight stays, please feel free to BYOB (bring your own bed), toys and your furry friends favorite treats. I couldn’t have found better folks to care for my baby than Kayla and her husband, John. They were great at our meet & greet, Charlie was able to roam around their spacious, clean home. It was my first time boarding my pet and they put my fears at ease. Charlie was well taken care of and I am so thankful for finding them.
Our pup loves to stay Kayla and her husband! She starts wagging her tail the minute we pull into the neighborhood and always leaves well cared for. Thank you for being our go-to Rover sitters!
Kayla and John are so awesome! This is the third time they have watched my baby Parker and once again he had an excellent time. Parker wasn't feeling well one day and Kayla took him to the vet to check everything out. I received lots of photos and Kayla is easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!

Schedule
We both work full time, and work from home some days. We’re big time homebodies, so we love hanging out with pups when we’re home!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in yard and live in a safe/quiet neighborhood. We are accommodating to your needs if you prefer your dog be in a crate while away, etc. just let us know! We treat every dog as if they’re our own, and want them to feel as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
We will play games, fetch, long walks and lots of pets! We love to take walks in the morning and evening (especially during the warmer months so it’s not too hot for them)
