Caring for Your Dog Like My Own
My Experience I have done pet sitting since I was 12 years old and have been trusted to care for many neighbourhood dogs over the years, varying in ages and breeds. I have experience in looking after young high-energy dogs and older dogs who need a bit of extra care and patience such as giving them oral medicine and taking them to relieve themselves more often. I got my Labrador in 2020 when he was just a puppy and fully trained him myself. Back in England I studied Animal Management in college. I worked as an assistant dog trainer for two years with Reagan's Dog Training located in Hertfordshire. During this time I worked alongside a retired police and military dog handler. This experience allowed me to gain further knowledge and understanding of dog behaviour and gain experience with many different dogs from Jack Russell's to Dobermans. During this time I also had work experience in boarding kennels, dog daycares and livestock farms.

Shep had an amazing time with Kayla as usual. He had lots of fun and lots of exercise and really enjoyed the company of Kayla’s dog. Had lots of updates and fast response. Shep is so comfortable and happy it’s like a holiday for him too!

Gwen has an amazing time staying with Kayla! She went on a lot of lovely walks and had lots of play time with Kayla's dog Zeke. The set up in the house is fantastic with a room for your dog if needed. Will definitely book again next time we go away!

Schedule
I am able to go on morning, lunchtime and evening walks if necessary . I'm always down for some playtime with a fun toy in the house or garden.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my top priority. As a dog owner myself, I understand the importance of careful supervision. Your pet will always have access to fresh water and a securely fenced garden for safe outdoor time. During walks, my full attention is dedicated to your dog to guarantee a fun and safe experience. With plenty of local spots for both on-leash and off-leash adventures, I’ll tailor each outing to your pet’s needs.
Pets
A typical day
Activities during the day are tailored to your dog’s needs and their familiar routine. Each day includes scenic walks, agreed scheduled feeding times, and regular potty breaks. Playtime is one of my favourite parts of the day, whether it’s a game of fetch or tug-of-war. And of course, there’s always time for cuddles and quiet moments to ensure your dog feels loved and secure. The dogs have free roam of the house throughout the day so are able to have their alone time and come to seek attention as they please.
