For all overnight stays, my 4 year old daughter comes with me! She is a super sweet girl who loves animals and helping me. She offers them all the play time they want and all the snuggles! She has been coming to housesits with me since she was born, and it’s been a huge blessing to be trusted by so many families with her by my side! I’m truly thankful for everyone! Until we get a feel for eachother and establish trust and feel safe, I try to keep her away from the pets until they show interest and want to engage first by coming up to her to play/sniff/love her. But i always keep a barrier between them to ensure everyone’s safety until they get a feel for each other and to eliminate any possible risk! We both love all the pets and I have years of experience dealing with them in many environments so i feel very confident in the love and care I will provide for every pet I meet.

For walks, drop-ins, and house sitting in your home: my availability is always open and usually pretty flexible depending on what you and your pets need to feel comfortable and cared for the way you would if you were home! I can stop by throughout the day or hang out at home the majority of the day and can stay overnight if preferred to provide around the clock attention and care. I’m all for aligning my schedule with the needs of your pets to ensure they feel comfortable and loved!

Let me know if your pet(s) have any special quirks or need anything in particular to be comfortable and thrive during my stay! Anything from daily medications, particular meal preferences, or favorite blanket/toys… I have experience with all types of dogs with differences and funny characteristics, so nothing is too much for me! -Fun Fact: Pitbulls & “bully” breeds are my absolute favorite, no breed discrimination with me! I love all of them! :) They’re all tons of fun and bring so much joy to me! I look forward to hearing from you soon and can’t wait to meet your fur babies!
A typical day
I provide daily feedings/fresh water changes, neighborhood walks or backyard play time, lots of cuddles, baths if needed, daily brushing, throwing a ball or playing fetch, giving all medications… i can do it all! Whatever your pet needs and is used to, i can do! For house sitting, I will also keep up with cleaning, collect any mail, water your plants, pick up the yard, do litter box changes, take trash bins to the curb, and I always try to make the bed and wash any sheets/towels on the final day… i strive for perfection when it comes to making sure all pets are happy and healthy and also leaving the home the same way it was when i arrived, if not better to ensure a carefree time when you arrive back home! I’m open to helping with whatever needs to get done and am sure to be able to accomplish whatever tasks when in your home flawlessly. I do a lot of home organizing and cleaning so i love to help people with that in my free time if needed as well! Pet care experience
Hey y’all! My name is Kayla and I’ve been watching all kinds of pets and house sitting for 13 years now. I’ve had many different pets over the years and have watched some unique ones too! I’ve lived my entire life having some type of pet: dogs, cats, a bunny, Guinea pigs, hamsters, a ferret, frogs, geckos, bearded dragons, turtles, fresh and saltwater fish, Axolotls, snakes, ducks, chickens, parakeets, and even farm animals too! I’m a dog lover who would choose to be around dogs everyday over people if i could! But, i do love all types of animals and love caring for them! I truly enjoy every new experience and animal i meet, they help build my skill set and expand my knowledge on all types of pets. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities.
